With the weather hitting the highs we've all been waiting for why not indulge with our selection of delicious canapés for any event. Here we have Chilli, avo, lime & crab topped with caviar or hot smoked salmon, chorizo, tomato & paprika aioli.

We also offer refreshing cocktails and welcome drinks as additions with private dining or event bookings too, whether you're looking for jugs of Pimms or glasses of Aperol Spritz why not treat yourself to something refreshing or zingy!!!

We utilise local farmers, producers and suppliers through every part of our menu's where we can. From fresh locally grown vegetables, locally sourced meat or tasty cheeses.

Smashed it!!!! 30th birthday celebration, 40 covers in a stunning venue, two courses, limited kitchen capacity and an excellent crowd!

Massive, massive thank you to both my front of house team and couldn't have done it without you both. Two of THE best and most professional people I've worked with, the dynamic and communication between was incredible and just like old times!!! Can't thank you both enough!!!!

Allow me to introduce myself – I'm Gareth, a seasoned chef and owner here at The Fig Pantry, with a culinary journey spanning a whopping 24 years! 🍽️ My adventure in the world of food has taken me from the bustling streets of London to the flavors of Scandinavia and even the tranquil landscapes of Somerset 🌍.

But let me take you back to where it all began. I started my culinary odyssey as a humble pot wash at the tender age of 14. From there, I embarked on a journey through the bustling kitchens, working tirelessly and climbing the ranks 👨‍🍳. It's a journey filled with sweat, determination, and the unyielding love for what I do.

But here's the secret ingredient to my culinary journey - reliability, honesty and integrity are the spices of life that I bring to the table. 🤝 I'm dedicated to crafting unforgettable food experiences and sharing my love for all things delicious with you. With an unwavering attention to detail and a dedication to my craft, I strive for gastronomic perfection in every dish I create. 🍽️✨

The Fig Pantry offers bespoke dining for all occasions, corporate, personal/private, special events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversary and everything else in between! We love to cater for groups at home or in holiday lets.
We also run a freelance chef service so whether you're looking for an experienced head to come in and slot straight into your team or if you need help setting up and are after more of a consulting role we can also cover this!

Who said vegan/vegetarian food had to be bland or boring?

Here we have crispy soy & chilli glazed tofu ramen with lemongrass & Miso soup, rice noodles, pickled carrot & cucumber, beansprouts, fresh mint, scrispy chillies and topped with a fried egg. So much flavour packed into this bowl!

One from a recent private event we did, Gressingham Duck breast, confit leg, dauphinoise potato, heritage carrots, buttered kale, carrot & anise puree with madeira sauce! To say it went down a massive hit would be an understatement!!!
