We had the pleasure of having Dr Kate Cherrall with us.
After our wonderful dinner, Kate did a fantastic talk before we embarked on our investigation of this haunted venue.

CALLING ALL PARANORMAL TEAMS:
We are hosting a paranormal investigator evening at the beautiful
14th Century Old Vicarage Hotel in Bridgwater, Somerset.
This is open to individual paranormal investigators or teams.
It is on Friday 11th October.
The cost is £80pp bed & breakfast.
A deposit of £40pp is required to secure your booking.
We will consider having a sit-down meal nearer the time, as Candy's food is always first-class.
There are limited twin, single and king-size bedrooms.
After the restaurant closes for the evening, we will have the hotel to ourselves.
It is a unique opportunity to delve into the many layers of this extraordinary collection of former individual buildings.
They have survived the Civil War and the Monmouth Rebellion.
That is why they are now the second oldest building, apart from the church opposite that exists in Bridgwater today.
Tea/coffee will be provided during the investigation.
We will split into three like-minded teams.
Over 18's only.

Tomorrow we welcome some fantastic paranormal teams and investigators to two nights sleepovers trying to get under the haunted fabric of this old hotel.

We recently caught up with the lovely Gemma from Cornwall and interviewed her.
Little did we know that her husband's family used to own this building many years ago, when it was the Steying Farm Tea Shop.

The last vigil of the night proved to be a very interesting one indeed. We are now looking into a possible connection with a Grey friar. Can spirits move from one venue to another? This has given us food for thought. The Old Vicarage Hotel has dangled the ghostly carrot in front of us all, and now we need to arrange a return.

Beverley, Vanessa and Tanith also gave a quick interview before the last vigil was started.

Stephen and Michelle from Wales visited the Old Vicarage Hotel for the first time last Thursday night. This was their initial view before we commenced with the last vigil.
