The most beautiful day of our lives made possible by so many suppliers but mostly Quantock Lakes.
In 2019 we viewed 3 wedding venues in 1 day, not only was this ambitious but 2 were perfectly matching what we thought we wanted - a big manor/stately home.
Quantock Lakes was last on the itinerary and an hours drive from home in a different county. We met Laura and viewed as the sun was setting and were blown away on our drive home, knowing already nothing would compare to what we had just seen.
Quantock Lakes was not what we thought we wanted and turned out to be everything and more. I cannot recommend to anyone enough to go and view this beautiful place and feel it for yourself. The venue offers so much flexibility to make the day completely yours. Nothing was too much to ask, nothing seemed impossible and everyone involved on the planning team really enabled us to have our day the way we wanted it no matter what. We never experienced any pressures or time constraints from the venue, honestly planning and hosting our wedding here really was the easiest and most relaxing thing ever - unheard of right!?
The most outstanding part of Quantock Lakes for us was the onsite accommodation for 60+ of our guests. We were able to have all of our guests stay with us for 2 nights which meant the wedding day wasn’t full of hellos, it was instead an amazing extension of time spent with our friends and family. The Quantock Barns, Granary and Farmhouse are all out of this world and our guests were blown away with their little 2 night getaway with us which made everything so much easier & relaxing for our guests and enabled us to throw a welcome party the night before which was such a special part of our few days there.
Every team member has been absolutely amazing throughout our wedding planning and we cannot thank you all enough. Incredible venue and incredible team, you all made our dreams come true, put us first and made everything feel so seamless and effortless. Thank
