Look who is arriving at Hope Farm in late Spring - born yesterday - 1st March. He will have his sister too for company. A lot of our guests will have met Hugo and Arthur our other pigmy goats. Along with the hebridean lambs due to be born beginning of April!

As we draw close to the end of our 2023 wedding season I would like to thank all our couples who chose to marry at Hope Farm this year. So many happy memories to take forward into next year.
A charity that I have followed for so long and really would like to give back this year is The Wedding Wishing Well Foundation. They help organise and fund weddings for terminally ill people. As we now have heating in the barn I can not only offer the occasional winter wedding but have time and space to organise a function or two to raise money for this Charity. We have set aside 2 evenings in December - 2nd and 9th December to host a Christmas 3 course meal. Cost to include a welcome glass of fizz and three courses is £30 per head. "Absolutely blown away by our venue and the staff when we got married here on Saturday.
Sue and her team just exceeded any expectation we had right from the word go. From the very first enquiry right up until the wedding day, there was not one single enquiry that was not met, there was nothing too big or small to be asked and we felt the most supported through the planning process.
The communication was incredible, with emails being responded too in such quick timing.
The setting is absolutely mind-blowing, the scenery is stunning, the venue was beautifully presented at all times and we’re so so grateful and lucky our date was available when we booked as no where can top this venue!
I cannot recommend this venue enough, and if you’re date is free BOOK IT, as you won’t be disappointed in the slightest.

Taking it back to Chloe & Jacks AWESOME and I mean AWESOME wedding at Hope Farm, Dorset last summer. This is one of my favourite images that I captured of them during their day.

These guys were partying hard and were so nervous about having their picture taken so I literally only dragged them away from the party for 10 minutes and I'm so pleased I did! The sun was at the perfect point in the sky, drenching us in all of its glorious golden goodness and these guys were an absolute hoot! Just having a genuinely good time with each other. So many laughs. They were proper naturals after being so nervous.

So the lesson here kids is;
even if you're a little bit scared, do it anyway because if the result turns out to be beautiful then that will last longer than that initial fear, that's long forgotten.

FARM LIFE

We hope you have all been enjoying the festivities over the past few days, indulging in all the good stuff; spending time with family and friends, resting and relaxing, and hopefully enjoying a few special treats.

We always try to take a break over Christmas but living on a farm means there are always these munchkins demanding our attention!

They also quite enjoy being part of your wedding and so watch out for the odd photo bomb and keep an eye on your bouquets and button holes!
