Brace yourselves for an electrifying weekend filled with a kaleidoscope of musical delights. There are still over 20 DJs of all genres to announce but here's our first wave.
We're thrilled to unveil this stellar lineup of acts set to grace the stage at the On The Bus Festival this August 30th-31st. From the legendary Drum and Bass pioneer DJ Aphrodite, hailed as a founding father of the genre, to the meteoric rise of AMA, who's transitioned from local sensation to sharing stages with giants like Chase and Status, Pendulum, DJ Fresh, Shy FX, and more at renowned festivals like Reading and Leeds and Boomtown.
Hip-hop enthusiasts, we've got something special for you! Verb T, from The Four Owls, is bringing a dynamite selection of UK Hip-Hop to the festival. Expect spellbinding sets from him, Ffsytho?!, Isaiah Dreads, Cerbs, and Joe King. Plus, seize the chance to showcase your skills in our open cypher event, offering the rare opportunity to take the main stage and command the mic!
Breaking from tradition, we're excited to be hosting a tribute act that's too good to miss – Pretendulum. Experience a full live band performance that captures the essence of Pendulum in a way that's nothing short of extraordinary. I've been watching this new band evolve from the sidelines and it's going to be a hella lotta fun! This is your invite to skank out with the best Pendulum tribute smashing out iconic tracks.

Tom Tom created this incredible bus for us in 2017, driven by the wicked wizard this would be the final bus design for the penultimate festival. It rained for a month in the leadup to this event and although the weekend wasn't too bad, it did us a huge hit in ticket sales. In addition our stage and equipment was stolen. 2018 we reached out to the community and you helped us kickstart a final sendoff event... And many have been asking us to find a way to come back ever since. Bus History Part 4. By 2016 we were blessed with the best decor team. Part of that team was Xia, who created this amazing dream bus for us. The design in the windows was done by Immy Gustar and this collaboration between these artists became one of our favourite designs. Bus history Part 3: The Monster Bus, the 2015 edition had the wonderful Krishna Malla pick up the pen and draw us this iconic monster truck bus. Big wheels for a big party in 2015 which saw Mouse Outfit, GLC, Ed Cox and more perform at the festival. It's hard to not know what Krishna has been up to if you live around Bournemouth, his Tech Moon artwork is commissioned upon half the buildings in town, including the stairs to our put The Four Horsemen Pub. History of the bus part 2. This design was done by none other than our pal Mr Martin Ross Butler who back in 2014 was running the excellent 60s inspired psych night Dollyrocker Club at The Winch (RIP). He carried over that psychedelic feeling into that years bus design creating this magical flying bus. He's still creating incredible pieces of art including the artwork for the recently released album by Selby And The Dharma Blitz. A week to celebrate the artists. Every year, we would get someone who was a friend of the festival to draw us a bus to be used as that summers design. It all started with asking Shaun Horlock, a friend who was also a talented artist to draw the first one. This set in motion an annual tradition with a new design coming from a fresh artist for each festival. Shaun went on to run Openmind Apparel and has become one of the most sought after tattoo artists around. You can see his work over on his website at : https://shaunhorlock.com/portfolio/

One of the best things about running a small festival is being able to give people a space to springboard themselves to bigger and better things. No festival is complete without fire, and we still remember when Pantheatrix were starting out at OTB.
