With summer upon us and the sun blessing us with its rays, The Golden Gloves have taken the tough decision to take a hiatus. Pub quizzes are for gloomy midweek nights, something to lift the otherwise depressed collective soul, thus we thought it best to wait till these better times are over and misery sets in once again. We’ll be back on the 28th of September with plenty of fresh ideas and trivia!

But there’s still a quiz to play for, and this one’s gonna be a biggie - over £250 up for grabs, and someone will be taking that MASSIVE CASH PRIZE home 💰💰💰 could it be you? Get yourself down to tomorrow from 7:30 to see The Golden Gloves off into the sunset! 🤚

Our usual photographer was taken sick at the last quiz so instead you have this pic of your quizmasters enjoying a classy seafood dinner 🍤🦪 It was a packed house as everyone came to win the big bucks - congrats to Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! (RIP) for winning…a bottle of wine! So the beat goes on and we’ll be playing once again for a massive cash prize 💰💰Win and you too could be enjoying a fancy seafood dinner.
