Yes we are looking for a New Florist to join our talented team … it’s a part time position, we would prefer some floristry experience.

We are a busy local florist, also selling a great range of plants, gifts and vintage treasures so some retail experience would be great but not necessary.

Our Red Roses will arrive tomorrow morning 🌹🌹🌹they were cut from the grower overnight and then packed and our Dutch supplier will be driving over today and be with us at silly o’clock in the morning 🙌🙌💞💞💞💞

We condition the flowers very early on Wednesday morning, which basically means … each rose has any thorns removed and Naomi is a thorny one, we always say the best ones are💞 then we strip off any excess leaves the roses now have a cut ✂️ on angle and have a couple of hours soaking before one of our team like the lovely Andrea here turn them into your bouquets with some gorgeous eucalyptus, and twisted willow to finish bouquet 💞🌹💞

Well when the Mistletoe is in 💗💗💗

I absolutely love this story on the origin of why kissing under the mistletoe became such a tradition 🎄🎄🎄

In the Norse culture, the Mistletoe plant was a sign of love and peace. The story goes that the goddess, Figg lost her son, the god Baldur, to an arrow made of mistletoe. After his death, she vowed that Mistletoe would kiss anyone who passed beneath so long as it was never again used as a weapon, which is such a positive from a terrible act 💗
