I absolutely love this story on the origin of why kissing under the mistletoe became such a tradition 🎄🎄🎄

In the Norse culture, the Mistletoe plant was a sign of love and peace. The story goes that the goddess, Figg lost her son, the god Baldur, to an arrow made of mistletoe. After his death, she vowed that Mistletoe would kiss anyone who passed beneath so long as it was never again used as a weapon, which is such a positive from a terrible act 💗

Today Carrie has chosen her 4 favourite Florian pieces in the shop today 🎄🎄🎄 always drawn to green, the bowl was always going to be in my top 4, it’s one from a new Scandinavian company that we absolutely love💗and that fabulous french candlestick is a find such a wonderful addition to any home 💗💗💗 those wonderful Dutch birch flower bowls filled with foliage and the tree candles so simple and beautiful, and it can come back to us to be refilled at any time of the year 💗💗💗 And those amber vases also from our new Scandinavian company are a florists dream 💗 so easy to use for so many flowers and will be gorgeous for amaryllis this festive season 🎄🎄🎄
