A couple of classics and a couple of new games being added to the library today!

Monopoly is THE classic, no introduction needed!

Afters its successful crowdfunding campaign it's shortly due to hit retail. Necromolds is coming!

A happy new year to all our wonderful customers,

2025 is a big year for Dice Saloon, it is our 10 year anniversary and our 5th year at the amazing 88 London Road. It really is the perfect venue for us and we are hoping to extend the lease for another 5 years!

In order to keep going we will be making some changes to opening times, booking slots and table fees as of 1st February:

Monday - Thursday
Cafe 5pm - 10pm
Play space 12pm - 5pm and 5pm - 10pm

Friday
Cafe 3pm - 11pm
Play space 12pm - 5pm (back hall only) and 7pm - 11pm

Saturday & Sundays
Cafe 10am - 7pm
Play space 10am - 2pm and 2pm - 7pm

Table fees

This will be our first increase in table fees in over 4 years and for those that have visited similar venues (especially in the South East) you will know we are still really good value. Booth prices will be £10 per session; large tables will be £16 per session and the RPG room £20. This increase will take place from the 1st February so if you already have a regular gaming slot feel free to book in advance to save yourself a couple of quid here: https://www.dicesaloon.com/book_table/new

Booths and large tables will still be free on weekday afternoons with no booking required as well as booths remaining free on weekend mornings. This will remain true until the launch of our new website at which point these sessions will be at ½ the standard price.

Some new games have made it into our games library!

Survive The Island is a cutthroat game in which players seek to evacuate their adventurers — especially those of a high value — from a sinking island to maximize their score.
A modern adaptation of Survive: Escape from Atlantis, the island isn't just besieged by sea monsters, there's kaiju stomping around the island too!

One of the top games of last year, Harmonies, has joined the library.

Happy New Year all!

We are now back and open as usual. During the holidays we were busy re-organising our boardgame library. We have cleared out some old/damaged games to create some space to add some different games over the next few weeks. We also took the time to check and replace as many missing parts as we could find!! There are likely some bits we have missed so if you do notice anything please bring it to our lovely staffs attention.

Good afternoon everyone!
As I'm sure you're all quite aware, we're drawing in fast to Christmas and the New Year.
We've been steadily loading up the store with all sorts of items ideal for gifts and family games to play between indulging over the holiday period (and hopefully forever more!).

Thank you all so much for helping us survive yet another year. It's never said quite enough but we really wouldn't be here without your continued support. We love you guys! Year ten is on the horizon and we hope you'll join us in getting to this incredible milestone as a small business in a big city.

You're probably wanting to know what our opening times will be over the holiday stint, so here they are.

Just a week to go!
Who's hype for the Dice Saloon Winter Bring & Buy?!
We sure are!!

Remember - this is a free event to take part in, no need to buy a ticket.

If you're looking to sell, then get your pre-loved games priced up and prepare to make some cash - just fill out the form online, stick a price on them, leave them with us and we will do the rest!

If you're looking to get some bargains then you can rock up from midday to get buying, but before then you can look but not buy - so no making big piles of bargains before anyone else can get a look in!

We've had some issues in the past, so if you look like you're hoarding then we will have to take the games off your hands and distribute them around the tables - please know that we are doing this for the benefit of the community as a whole and not just to be mean.

TL:DR: Sunday November 10th - Bring and Buy Sale.
Sellers come by from 10am, buyers can look at items but not buy them until midday.
No hoarding!

In conjunction with Bad Moon Cafe we'll be hosting the first of a two leg event on 2nd November, with the second half being held in London with BMC 30th November.
