Established in 2008, STAY SICK, continues to host its monthly trash rock n roll surf beat punk party, spinning the finest music, 7 inches at a time! Now a Brighton institution (for those in the know) these Cramps obsessed oddballs have also put on such live greats as Billy Childish, Kid Congo & the Pink Monkey Birds, Wtfukushi

ma (Fur Dixon), Monotonix, Reverend Beat-man, Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster, Bob Log III, The Schizophonics, Guitar Wolf, The Scientists, The Bellrays, Thee Oh Sees and more! Having hosted bands from Japan, Germany, USA, France, Mexico, Spain and Croatia (to name but a few), STAY SICK has made it their mission to track down, kidnap and present you with the best bands from around the world!

A wild mix you can go-go, grind, shake, shimmy, watusi, jerk, pogo and flip out to! Including 50s sleazy and greasy rock n roll, twangin' instros, boppin' rockabilly, swingin' rhythm & blues and exotica, 60s primitive fuzzed out garage, twistin' shakers, wild surf n psych, 70s snotty punk n roll, 80/90s new wave, riot grrrl, garagepunk and beyond to more modern sounds, and in fact, anything else that fits in and floats our boat! Always vinyl, always rockin’!

Bit slow to post this but the 2nd of last weekend’s wild shows was our sold out Los Dedos show at The Prince Albert on Saturday.

And what a show it was! We love Los Dedos and can’t wait to do it again next year, thank you boys! 🌊🏄🏻‍♂️🎸Watch this space 👀

Special thanks also to our excellent supports The Tridents and Show Pony, who made their STAY SICK debut, though you may recognise one, two or three of them 😉 🙏

And last but not least means least, THANK YOU to all who came, bought ALL of the tickets and made it the party it was, cheers ya sickohs 🖤

Well last weekend wrapped up STAY SICK’s bad ass run of November shows, folks! And what a brace of shows they were!💥

Here’s some of the fun from the first of them last Friday at Daltons, at what was an awesome and wholesome charity do in aid of C.A.L.M. (Campaign Against Living Miserably) to support individuals and families affected by poverty, poor mental health and su***de.

I’m told over £1200 was raised, so a huge well done to everyone involved including all you legends who came out to show your support, the bands, Electric Cowboy Club, Desperate Measures NZ, Haunted Men, The Scavengers, Family of Strangers, Jason and Ebby for sharing the DJ duties with yours truly, our MC and inspirational poet Beady Man, and especially to Jamie Wretched and Sarah Scandel for putting their hearts and souls into organising the night, and my apologies to anyone I’ve missed out 🖤🙏

Keep looking out for each other, you beauties, all we have is now and each other xx

Oh my word, what a weekend!! Here at STAY SICK HQ the adrenaline is still pumping from two awesome shows this Friday and Saturday! ⚡️On Friday, down at the Albert we were honoured to bring THE MONSTERS to town for their first ever Brighton show in their 38 year history! And it was absolutely amazing and well worth the wait 👹❤️👹 Thank you all goes out to the BOO TIKI’S for opening up proceedings on the night 💚🖤 ⚡️Then, last night we had the privilege of holding local STAY SICK favourites THE DAMN SHEBANG’s ‘Make Me Feel Sick’ EP launch party at Alphabet which was a whole heap of fun! And again special thanks to the fantastic supports PLANET STRANGE, THE ATOM JACKS and THE SINICTONES for three diverse and equally sick sets and our special guest DJs Mr & Ms A of Hipsville a Go Go fame 🖤💚 We also want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all you rock n roll junkies and friends who turned up to get down! ⚡️🖤⚡️ ⚡️Things don’t let up next weekend when yours truly will be participating in the worthy cause that is ‘Friends in Low Places’ a Suicide Awareness Fundraiser taking place next Friday 22nd Nov at Daltons including a ton of great bands and guest DJs, as organised by our good friend Jamie Wretched. From my personal experiences I know only too well that ‘It’s good to talk’. So please come down and show your support and let’s do our best to look after each other ❤️ The following night on Sat 23rd Nov we see the eagerly awaited return of wild Bristolian surf maestros LOS DEDOS, ably supported by THE TRIDENTS and a debut show from a new band but with some familiar faces SHOW PONY. 2/3rds of tickets already sold for this one so don’t hang about and visit wegottickets to secure yours! 🎫🎸🏄🏻‍♀️🌊 We’re eternally grateful for all of your support you beauties and we hope to see you all soon. Right I’m off to DJ some tropical Latin sounds at The Great Eastern from 3-8 this afternoon

Monster thank you to all who came to see The Schizophonics last night 👹🙏 The show was a sell out and what a show it was!! They nailed it as always and there was a touching and full on sonic assault of a tribute to Wayne Kramer RIP and MC5, as well as Little Richard which Pat decided to take from the corridor to the floor! Special thanks for @De Crâne and SKiNNY MiLK for their fantastic sets in support 🔥⚡️🖤 Next up we have STAY SICK at The Hope the first Sat in March, followed by gigs with The Bonnevilles, Mudlow, Drunk Mums and Rough Gutts and the Official Brighton Tattoo Convention Afterparty! Ramalama fa fa faa 🤘🎸
