Big Church Festival is one of the largest religious festivals in the UK, bringing together nearly 30,000 people of all ages and backgrounds, right in the heart of the Sussex Countryside.

We are proud to have been asked to return for the 2nd year in a row, to help to create a space for thousands of worshippers to celebrate their faith.

Working alongside hard-working teams such as Pearce Hire and Hybred Events Ltd makes events like these, a dream!

We’ve kicked the Hammers out of their ground and brought our Scaff Hammers in to West Ham United Stadium!

We are excited to transform the stadium from football grounds to a baseball pitch in time for the Mets vs Phillies game with MLB , a concert venue to host The Foo Fighters, and finally an arena to host Monster Jam 2024!

We battled some terrible winter storms, Babet, Ciaran, Debi, Elin, Fergus, Gerrit, Henk, Isha and Jocelyn all tried to spoil the party but we still came away with
‘BEST SUPPLIER NEWCOMER’ at Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park this year!

Our amazing Site and Stage Crew have been dedicatedly supporting Tess Wilson and her fantastic team at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, London, from October 15th to November 19th. Collaborating with everyone on site has been an absolute pleasure - a big thank you for looking out for us, just as we strive to take care of you. The power of teamwork is truly remarkable!

We're already counting down the days until we reunite in January 2024.

Our hard working Site and Stage crew were, once again, on the road this summer, supporting our good friends and client SC Productions Ltd

We were up and down the country at three amazing shows:

- Bloodstock (Derby)
- Belladrum (Scotland)
- Corona Sunset (Hertfordshire)

SAS supplied Telescopic / All Terrain fork lift operators along with fence, scaffold and signage teams for each site.

All three shows got to doors on time - we love it when a plan comes together!

A big THANK YOU to our senior crew chief Chris Leach and all the SAS crew who did an amazing job while not forgetting the SAS office team working tirelessly in the background!!!

Also, a very special thanks to Sarah Cole and Jake Warriner at SC Productions Ltd for looking after us.

A great team effort from all involved!

Site and Stage proudly supplied the core site crew and on-site runner All Points East in , London this August. This included build, show and break cover 24hrs a day for 33 days straight and that's what helped make this event such a huge success.

Our incredible crew built all of the scaff signs, erected 100s of metres of festoon, completed several up and overs and erected / dismantled all the heras fencing, pedestrian barriers, met barrier and much more on this iconic central London site.

A big thank you to Chris Davey, Suzanne Johnson and the wider LS Events / AEG Presents UK family. Not forgetting all of the other professional crews and suppliers that made this such an enjoyable gig to work on.

We can’t wait to work with you all again in 2024.

Site and Stage provided a full site management and core crew team for the AEG Presents UK and Senbla Live Events in the lovely grounds of Warwick Castle, featuring Gwen Stefani and UB40

One of the worlds best Summer Shows - AEG Presents UK - BST Hyde Park 2023.

Site and Stage has once again had the pleasure of working with some of the very best in the business.

We provided the core site-crew, site-runner, and plant manager from the start of the build on 5th June, to the end of the break on 18th July.

We are very honoured and proud to have supported LS Events on these amazing shows at The Royal Parks since 2015.

A massive shout out to the hard working SAS Crew - we couldn't do it without you!

Site And Stage - throwback to Brockwell Park in London.

Once again it was a pleasure working shoulder to shoulder with GAP Group for the build and break of mojo barriers for 5 stages / front of houses.

We also provided a last minute crew call for the final push to get to doors with Organise Chaos Limited.

Another recent job well done…

This was the 2nd year Site and Stage Crew supported our friends at Ghostwriter Consultancy & Events

We enjoyed 8 sunny days working at the historical Royal Holloway University, building the site and assisting with the production.

A special thanks to the Ghostwriter Team for looking after us.

As always we couldn’t do it without the amazing SAS crew!

This was Site and Stage's first green field of the year!

We were working with Solotech UK Group. and Limelight Presentation Systems for the main stage production, Load-in / Load-out at The Big Church Festival 2023 at Wiston House, Sussex.

Also assisting Pearce Hire building small stages and erecting the scaffolding for the festoon.

On top of that, we had crew working with GAP Group Limited installing the toilets for the sanitation blocks.

We would like to thank our Clients / SAS Crew / SAS Office.

The summer is finally in full swing.

Site and Stage are proud to present our involvement with this winter’s Festival of Light at Longleat. We have been providing site management and crewing services since early August, overseeing the build and incredible creation of the handmade lanterns by the skilled Chinese craftsmen at VYA.

After a smashing season working with some incredible teams, we are ready to start filling up our calendar again for 2023.

Our live site management and pre-production service includes professional CAD drawings and site map design.

We offer a full advancing package including but not limited to; production of specifications, retrieving quotes from our long term event supply partners, booking equipment, scheduling and precision mark outs.

On site, we manage the build, break and live event days. Providing Site Managers, Site Co-ordinators, Office Managers, Plant Operatives and Core Crew if required.

Chris Powell is one of our Crew Boss’ and Telehandler Operators.

Chris has been with SAS as a freelance worker since 2019, we recently took him on as a full time member of the team for a busy summer season.

Spending time in warehouses for the majority of his working life, Chris has now turned his skills into a career working on site at the build of festivals and events.

Chris likes to spend his spare time on his bike doing ride outs, visiting friends as much as possible, seeing his kids and the rest of the time, mainly playing on his Xbox.

Meet Lauren Goldie, our Operations Assistant at Site and Stage!

Lauren joined the team earlier this year to help out Katy (Operations Manager) with a huge workload. Lauren assists in liaising and booking out over 100 crew for various jobs, looking at transport, accommodation, quoting and client / crew feedback.

Lauren was born in Croydon, but lived in Scotland for several years. She decided to move back down south after busking in Brighton and falling in love with the city.

Currently, she is on a gap year before going to study Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. In her spare time she tutors maths and science to students taking their GCSE’s and A levels. Lauren loves listening to music and goes to as many gigs as she can afford! She is currently learning to code, alongside reading as much as she can 📚

As well as being an absolute brain box, Lauren can also sing, play guitar and bass in bands and loves performing live! ✨

Katy Wilson is our Operations Manager - her day to day role includes liaising with 100+ crew members, booking them out on jobs and taking care of their transport & accommodation. Katy also handles our client liaison and feedback, quoting and more.

Working in events since 9 years old, and knowing Martin, the core crew and many clients since 11 years old, Katy has grown up in the events industry. She has done her rounds as Operations Assistant, Site Manager, Site Office Manager, Event Control and much more. Katy is currently learning how to draw site plans using Vectorworks. She also makes the best cups of tea (apparently 😉​).

Being a family company, Katy has been involved with SAS since day 1, but committed full time in October 2021.

Interests outside of the festival world include going on walks, gym, driving and cooking. Katy is also looking forward to going travelling at the end of a very busy 2022 summer season, on a solo trip around Europe! 🚞​🌍
