We've had a lovely Sunday. A very long dog walk with a good friend we don't see often enough & now, shop dogs, Gracie & Daisy are snoozing on the sofa, whilst I read my book.

After an incredible 16 years, today was our lovely Liz's last day. She's off to train in Early Years, Special Educational Needs & she's going to be brilliant! Over the years, she's helped thousands of girls find their bridal, bridesmaids or First Holy Communion dress. She's also fitted, altered & personalised countless dresses.
We're going to miss her like mad & as she didn't want a leaving party, we had a very small gathering where we enjoyed our favourite Cheese on Toast from DELI !

It's Scarecrow Festival weekend! Syarting tomorrow, there will be over 80 Scarecrow's on the trail around the village, plus lots happening on the playing fields, a dog show on Saturday, fly past by a Lancaster Bomber on Sunday, stalls, live music & lovely food created by our neighbours Pumpkins DELI It's a great way to spend a couple of hours. Shop Dog life. Because we liked paddling in the stream on Monday, Mum decided we'd like a paddling pool. We've given it a good sniff & Daisy had a brief paddle & has done some bobbing for the toys that Mum threw in, but all in all, we're not that impressed with it. The Bridal Gallery has just celebrated it’s 26th Birthday! When you’re doing something that you love, the years seem to have fly by! We’ve added more products to our collection over the years, Bridesmaids, Prom & First Holy Communion Dresses & we’ve now merged our two fabulous stores under one roof - Brides can now buy a dress off the peg & take it away that day or choose to have a gown ordered, especially for them. Wedding gown designs have changed over the years, (some have come around again!), but our commitment to providing high quality gowns, in a friendly & welcoming atmosphere remains the same as it did when we opened our doors in 1993. We’re looking forward to welcoming more Brides to the ever expanding Bridal Gallery family!
