We've had the pleasure of meeting Paul on two previous occasions whilst visiting his care home.

When his daughter got in touch to ask if we could visit him for his birthday, we were absolutely delighted.

This was a really special one and it was so lovely to see the way Paul interacted with the animals. There were also a few fears conquered amongst family members.

A special mention too for Claire, the Carer, who hosted us perfectly and was very brave getting involved.

Happy 85th birthday, Paul. We're honoured to have been a part of your birthday celebrations!

🏆 ANNOUNCING OUR WINNER 🏆

Wow! Thank you so much to everyone who entered our art competition last week. When the masterpieces started coming in, we quickly realised just how difficult it was going to be to pick a winner!

After much deliberation, we are delighted to announce that the winner is 9 year old Ava, who got extremely creative with some loom bands to create Marvin, our Blue-Tailed Monitor. We'll be in touch to arrange delivery of your Rockin' Reptiles goodie bag.

A few months ago, we held a competition giving one lucky family the opportunity to have a Rockin' Reptiles encounter at their home.

So earlier this week, the winners claimed their prize and these two lucky lads got to meet a number of our animals, including Jenny (Royal Python) and Janet and Susan (Giant African Millipedes).

Smiles all round☺️😀🐍

We're often told how kids love looking through our pictures and videos on our socials and as we move into the final week of the summer holidays, we wanted to come up with a way to reward one of our young fans!

So revisit our photos and videos, decide who's your favourite and get creative!

Send us your drawings, paintings or any sort of artwork showing your favourite Rockin' Reptiles animal.

A little update on Bruno, our White Throat Monitor.

For those that have followed us for a while, they'll know that we got Bruno back in March this year and moved him into a large walk-in enclosure that we spent months building.

In 6 months, Bruno has made so much progress. He's bigger, stronger, has better skin and a superb appetite. As well as that, he is learning to trust us more and more with every passing week. He makes use of every inch of his enclosure and also loves to explore (and get into mischief) when we get him out for a wander.

The kids love him. We love him. A truly sensational species that we feel so privileged to be able to provide a home for.
