🌳 Planting a small woodland - ‘The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now’ 👨‍🏫 I’m raring to go after a constructive site visit from @forestofavon and an excellent workshop this week run by the lovely people @tree_source_ in conjunction with @theforestrycommission 🌲 Our plan is to plant a diverse mix of native woodland varieties, sourced from bio secure stock. This will form a small copse and create a new hedgerow, interspersed with beautiful English Oaks 🌳 We’ve got a few lovely specimens already @eastwick_farm_floral but we’re keen for lots more to provide natural shelter and interest for the livestock in the field, to extend the natural habitat enabling wildlife to flourish, improve air quality…maybe even provide the foliage for our large installations! #woodland #planttrees #trees #englishoak #oaktree #nativetrees #moretrees #moretreesplease #shelter #treeplanting
