Summer is nearly here...

3 weddings in 4 days this week, and not a drop of rain at any of them.

Heres a little teaser of one of them.

The sun does occasionally peek out in November! And when it does you have to make the most of it.

I may have gone for a paddle for this one, scroll down to see a BTS photo from this day. 🥶

This is the first wedding I filmed at Crowcombe Court, and I really hope it isn't the last.

A prep room bathed in natural light with some incredible décor.
A light and airy ceremony space that still maintains all the intimacy and romance you expect at a wedding.
A perfect backdrop for an incredible wedding, nestled in the Quantocks.

Not to mention the incredible couple I had the joy of working with. It was a pleasure to capture their day. As you can see here, they absolutely nailed it!

On a cold winters day, Richie and Sarah got married at

Despite the cold all you could feel around these two was warmth. Together for 13 years before this day, they said I do with their two incredibly sweet children beside them, looking dapper as anything in their suits. Alongside all their lovely and upbeat family and friends.

(not to mention their adorable little pup! I love it when a wedding has a dog🤩)

If you want to have a chat about having you day captured the way that I captured Richie and Sarah's. Please do have a look through my website and get in touch, I can't wait hear from you! 😀

Now this one was a lot of fun...

Late September, at the tail end of summer. Katie and Matthew tied the knot at Canada lodge and lake, a restriction free wedding that they truly made the most of, putting on one incredible day for all their friends and family.

Just wait until you see the reception at the end 🔥

You do what you gotta do...

November weather isn't ideal for a paddle 🥶 But the reflections on the water were too good not to get my feet wet.

The first elopement I've ever done, and I hope it wont be the last.
Quiet, relaxed and intimate. Just the two of them.

24/09/2021

Now how's this for a reception?

A beaming couple, a breath taking first dance, and some incredible dance moves from their guests. What more can you ask for?

Bonus points if you can spot their dog 'Gravy' in the background...

So things have been a little quiet on this page, weddings however, well they have been non stop!

It's been so nice to have weddings back, and I can't believe some of the creativity and work these couples have put in this year to make sure their special day happens.

Here's a little sneak peak of what is to come over the rest of the year!

The last one from this lovely day.

Can't think of anything better way to celebrate a new marriage than taking a row out on a gorgeous little lake, and a party in the sun with all of your closest freinds and family.

All the best to these two, looking forward to seeing them next year when they re-do their ceremony with everyone that couldn't make it because of the resctrictions.

From an enormous church to a tiny one. These two got married in one of the most beautiful, and removed churches I think i've ever seen, nestled in the hampshire countryside.

Along with a lake full of swans just around the back, but that'll be for part 3

I do love a good confetti throw it must be said.

Time for another round of trailers!

Flash back to september 2020, where I had the joy of spending the day capturing Sarah and Simons wedding.

I love working on weddings like this, out in the last of the summer sun under a marque, and not a cloud in the sky.

A lovely end to the day.

No bars open or big receptions allowed was no problem for this couple, the champagne was flowing regardless on this glorious evening.

The third and final instragam trailer for ellie and Adams big day!
Every booking made will recieve 2/3 of these depending on the package booked. Now starting at £300

Feel free to get in touch, I'm always happy to chat!

I’m convinced this church was the size of the village it was built on, if not bigger.

A beautiful late summer afternoon, a beautiful church, a beautiful couple.

One of the craziest things about 2020 was how people persevered and adapted despite everything. Just like many, this reception certainly didn’t let anything stop it. Make sure to view once it's out on this page!

For every wedding video, you'll also receive 3 short instagram videos for you to use however you wish as well! 3 videos for the preparations, ceremony and reception.

Here's one made for Ellie and Adam, covering the bridal preparations on a beautiful sunny morning. (featuring Romeo, the family cat)

Stay tuned for the ceremony!

I loved everything about this day.

From the grand open space of their ceremony at St Georges Church, with their friends watching from just outside the doorway. To the small marquee at the brides parents countryside home. restrictions weren't going to stop these two.

Sometimes, a small gathering of friends and family can feel just as momenteous as the biggest of parties.

Wishing these two all the best for their future.

Hey!

My name is Jack and I started sowing the seeds for Something Borrowed back in October 2019, shortly after I had graduated from the University Of Portsmouth.

I filmed my first wedding using equipment I had borrowed at the time and delivered a short highlight reel. I instantly knew this was for me and that I would stay committed to delivering clients unique and personal wedding films.

I like to take a fly on the wall approach with a personal touch. Meaning that, while I do keep my distance and avoid being obtrusive, I still take my time to make sure the people around know me. I find that just through knowing my name people tend to become much more relaxed and natural.

If you're in need of someone to capture all the details of your day, please send me a message!
