We’re very excited to be hosting the mighty Firmly Rooted at this years ❤️💛💚

A sound close to our heart, we’ve seen it grow into one of the best in the UK in only a few years. The crew & boxes have powered so many of our shows we couldn’t host our festival without them, proper family business 👊🏼

Firmly Rooted have programmed a Reggae & Dubwise stage with some of the finest in the industry including , , .music, , , and loads more 🏆

ABA SHANTI-I SOUND SYSTEM ❤️💛💚

We’re proud to announce the first Sound System playing at HighRise Festival is the mighty Aba Shanti-I.

Aba and his new sound system built by legendary box builder will be playing for 7 hours on Friday 8th September at the arena 🔊❤️

Aba’s 30+ year career has been hugely influential to us. We’ve had the honour of hosting him at HighRise many times over the years in both Leeds and Bristol 👊🏼

As he’s been such a big part of our journey it feels right for him to be opening our first festival with some of the finest roots reggae music 🙏

Come and experience the sound of Jah Thunder & Lighting this September at the first ever HighRise Festival❤️

In 9 months today we’re giving birth to HighRise Festival at the beautiful SGP site 🌳

This drone has helped us take a huge step for the future of festival & laser scanned the area. From this a 3D CAD file will draw the infrastructure already on-site & that we’re adding in!

We’re about to start drawing out our site design which features 20+ immersive venues & stages built into one of the UK’s best festival sites 🏕️

We’re working with the best hire & production companies, record labels, crews & sound systems for our largest collaborative project to date!

A 4 day camping pass is just £85 until the end of January when the line up & stages gets announced 👊🏼❤️

CHECK OUT THIS DRONE!!

Looks more like a helicopter & worth a mental £400k, this beauty helped us take a huge step for the future of yesterday!

Capable of capturing a million measurements a second this drone flew our site yesterday for 42 minutes!!

It has helped us complete a full site LIDAR scan. This information is being used to build a 3D model of our entire festival site.

This 3D CAD model will be the foundation of our festival planning. Every piece of infrastructure from stages to fence panels even our lovely staff will be drawn in CAD as part of the planning process.

Before the festival begins our team will be virtually walked around the festival so they know the design before arriving to site. The whole model is GPS co-ordinated & will save us weeks mapping out our festival.

It was a big investment and has used a considerable amount of our start up funds but will lay the foundations for a huge engineering & logistical project.

Huge thanks to the team at Red Laser Scanning for their help! We’re excited to see the results 👊🏼❤️
