We've started running workshops and free creative play sessions in collaboration with other organisations across the city. It's been an absolute blast and we've loved each and every one so far. We're passionate about inspiring creativity in as many ways as possible and love the challenge of tailoring ourselves to the vibe of different events. So if you're hosting an event next year or run a regular session and would like us to pop along for one and do what we do best please do reach out, we're always delighted to jump on the chance to make a difference to the communities around us.

You might have noticed we've been a bit quiet the last couple of days. That's because Team Creative Waves has been in York celebrating Catherine at the Places for People Community Matters Awards.
Catherine says 'It's an honour to recieve this lovely award, particularly as it gave me to opportunity to meet so many amazing community champions from all over the country. Their stories were really inspiring, ordinary people doing extraordinary things, going that extra mile to make their neighbourhood a better place, to help those around them. That kind of positive community minded vibe is infections and I've come away brimming with new ideas to help nurture that in our communities here'

This awesome young visitor also helped us assemble our drum kit (we had no idea what we were doing!!) and dished out lots of tips and tricks to others at our @deanlaneskatepark event, what amazing community spirit!
