A drink damaged Denon Prime 2 came into the workshop, the spill was so bad one side stopped working. After meticulously taking the unit apart, we came to the spillage. Painstakingly we cleaned the sticky liquid from the unit and after a few tests everything worked again! Hurrah another controller back in circulation! Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the process.

This battle scared RX2 came in with several issues, including broken cue and play buttons, intermittent USB ports and broken headphone ports. The controller was fully serviced which fixed most issues and only needed a new set of cue and play buttons and headphone ports. As always thanks to for sending us the items to do this. This Pioneer RX2 controller lives to fight another day!

This Pioneer CDJ 900 NXS took a bang on the screen, we fully serviced and replaced the screen. It was then finished off with our signature polish and now looks and works as good as new.

Same day turn around on an Ethernet Port repair for these CDJ's 900. We also gave the decks a nice clean and polish.

A freshen up of this XDJ XZ after a wine spillage (they have very refined taste) for our friends over at Queerky after the Bristol Pride parties. Shining away again with our special polish.

This RX2 came in with a few issues from a club in Birmingham, the unit had a coca cola spillage inside of it and broken cue and play buttons. We full stripped and serviced this deck, cleaned the coca cola off the PCB and replaced a snapped cue and play button. As always thanks to DJSpares for sending us the parts needed with speed. As we love everything that passes through us, the controller was finished off with our special polish to make it shine like new. A well used RX1 which needed alot of TLC and we rose to the challenge. It had new loop in, out buttons, hot cue buttons, new crossfader, new faders all from out favourite supplier DJSpares and a full service. It is now ready for battle at St Pauls Carnival Bristol tomorrow. Ben The Deckfather

While fixing decks I listen to lots of weird and wonderful music, this keeps me inspired with what to host at 2 other things im involed in which is Wrong Music and Bang Face. Here I am with some friends/legends of the electronic music scene on Friday at Strange Brew. It was a really refreshing night with a mixture of genres and my personal favourite Acid Morris Dancing. Nothing beats working on club grade Pioneer, we absolutely love it! This beast came in from PF Events with a dodgy cue button, the unit was stripped, cleaned and restored back to its former glory! It will be heading to a field near you soon!

A nice little battery mod for the XTA DP448, the standard battery in the unit is prone to leaking battery acid onto the PCB and damaging the board. We made a minor change to the circuit and replaced the battery with a button cell battery holder, battery and new fan. These are now back home at the legendary Motion Bristol.

A full service is a term loosely thrown around these days and is something we keep seeing! This CDJ 900 had been "serviced" locally less than a year ago but was still glitching. When opened we found coca cola everywhere and many signs that it had not been serviced at all. We deep cleaned the unit, PCB, soldered new switches, lubricated the jog wheel, and it is now back to its prime. Whoever you choose make sure they are servicing your item properly, and if it seems too cheap then they probably aren't doing it correctly.
