Hey guys!
Unfortunately, this post is not going to be about one of our beloved Spanish parties... As you guys might be aware, our country is going through tough times due to the covid-19 spread. That’s why, in partnership with Glasgow and Edinburgh Spanish Society, we are trying to raise as much money as possible to buy equipment for healthcare professionals in Spain. COVID-19 is expanding much faster than what we can control in Spain. The number of deaths has just gone over 1,000 and the number of new daily cases increases every day that goes by, having the steepest increase in COVID-19 cases worldwide.
Because of this, we feel it is important to provide as much support as possible to the healthcare workers who are always in the frontline in these cases and breaking their back day after day for us. Therefore, we will be raising money to buy protective equipment for healthcare professionals in Spain, where it is starting to lack and many of whom are starting to get infected by the virus because of this problem.
We hope that those of you who, like us, are suffering this far away from home, and would like to make a difference to the Spanish community, could contribute to help us join forces and stop this virus together, wherever you are.
