Bike Events has been organising bike rides for over 25 years and our rides are designed with the interests of beginners, families and regular cyclists in mind. Our aim...to provide an enjoyable, well-organised and worry-free ride for all who take part, not forgetting the chance for charities to raise much-needed sponsor money of course! All our events are fully-supported with clearly-signed routes

, marshals, medical cover, cycle mechanics and pick-up vehicles, and many finish with a social event, with music, refreshments and beer tent. We also provide GPX routes which are available to download for all of our events. Finally, it's now very easy to raise money online. Simply visit our website and sign up - then create your page and you're away. All that remains is to wish you the best of luck for whatever event you decide to enter and we'll see you at the start line!

Set off from 7.30am at The Piazza MediaCityUk and finish on South Promenade Blackpool.
Then home in time for the match!

Our Story

Bike Events organises fundraising, recreational and sporting cycle rides. We’ve been doing this for over 25 years and our rides are designed for beginners, families, regular cyclists and those wanting more of a challenge. Our aim...to provide an enjoyable, well-organised and worry-free ride for all who take part, not forgetting the chance for charities to raise much-needed sponsor money of course! The rides offer a wide range of choices, from family-friendly 15 mile rides up to 30, 50, 70 or even 100 miles along back roads and through some beautiful countryside. All our rides are fully signed and marshalled, with regular refreshment stops along the way. First aiders, cycle-mechanics and pick-up vehicles are also on hand if needed.

We've also added new GPX routes which are available to download for all of our events.

Finally, it's now far easier to raise money online. Simply visit our website and sign up - then create your page and you're away. Last year we raised over £1m for charities and we'd love to break that this year.

It was great to run a successful and enjoyable event in Norwich on September 20th 2020 with the approval of the Safety Advisory Group and British Cycling. This followed social distancing and other guidance and was a valuable experience for running the 2021 events Covid-safe, so watch the website for details and enjoy some cycle rides with us next year- a great antidote to Covid gloom! All that remains is to wish you the best of luck for whatever event you decide to enter and we'll see you at the start line!
