The most incredible staircase!

I climbed this 6 times today on the photoshoot

Our day began at the marquee where we made the most beautiful setups of tables, table plan, and cake table. We then moved over to the Tower and took more shots up in the top room, and the lower room, where couples can choose to have their ceremony.

Such a wonderful day and a lovely opportunity to work with the following suppliers:

Today, I've been busy cutting the flowers at the farm and making up the arrangements. Here's a little preview for you...

Keep an eye on our stories as there will likely be some behind the scenes shots. The venue has been shut for a while and will be having a re-opening this month. I can't wait to see how it's looking when we get there!

A snippet of today's gorgeous bridal bouquet. Filled with scented stocks, garden roses, sweet peas, gladioli ('The Bride' of course 😉), Canterbury bells, and lots of other goodies from the farm.

My field grown ranunculus have started, and if you're a florist, you'll be able to buy some of these from tomorrow.

I love these because once they open, they look like Poppies. My Poppies haven't yet got going properly so these are an amazing alternative, and are quite different to the (also very beautiful!) fuller ranunculus which I grow in my tunnel.

It was lovely to get a peek of the sunshine this week....we just need a little more to bring on the peonies now!

A bouquet of sympathy flowers delivered today. It's always nice to hear when a customer uses you instead of a well-known online flower seller.

When people send flowers, it's often to mark a significant event, and it's important the flowers are right. Trusting someone you haven't used before, especially when they grow their own flowers, rather than using imports, can be a leap of faith for some.

A lady who called a couple of weeks ago decided not to buy from me when she found out I also grew the flowers, saying she would go to the supermarket instead 🙈 British flowers still have a bad reputation with some people, which is a real shame as I honestly believe that freshly cut flowers, grown locally and with love, will always be the best! 👌

It's a beautifully sunny day on the farm today. The 40mph winds aren't helping with the cutting, but I'm thankful there's no rain with it!

Lots of new flowers are on the way, so despite the wind, the sunshine is making me feel excited for the season ahead! 😄

NOW OPEN FOR ORDERS! 😃

I'm pleased to say I'm now officially open and taking mixed bucket and bouquet orders for the new season. At the moment I still have a fairly limited supply of varieties and colours, but these will rapidly increase week on week. Right now I have things like anemones, tulips, special daffodils and scented Narcissi, hellebores, snowflakes, and a few other spring flowers. I also have a nice variety of foliage available.

It's that time of year again, and I'm making the most of a glimmer of sunshine to get in the greenhouse and sow some seeds. I normally start mid-February, but due to the miserable weather I held off a week or two this year.

Paperwhites at the farm today. These have come in handy for a few small orders lately. When they first came out so early I thought they wouldn't get used so it's been a nice little bonus, and gives a little taste of what's to come 😀
