Kelvin Players is a vibrant, welcoming community of non-professional creatives, producing six productions each year.

Kelvin Players Theatre Company perform high-quality theatrical productions, mainly from our Gloucester Road studio in Bristol. Producing five full stage productions a year, staging rehearsed reading evenings, promoting new writing talent, and being home to various other events and groups, we have developed a reputation as one of Bristol and the South West's leading non-professional performance gro

ups. We are a registered charity (no. 294367), a member of the Little Theatre Guild of Great Britain and affiliated to the Avon Association of Drama.

Created entirely from transcripts of interviews with brothel workers in Bournemouth in the mid 2000s, The Girlfriend Experience gives an intimate look behind the scenes at the lives of s3x workers while they're off the clock between clients. Expect discussions around business, love lives, annoying clients, family woes, Mars bars, and much more.

We're fully sold out for Spider's Web next week, but the final show of the season still has availability! The Girlfriend Experience is a homely slice of life, set in a seaside brothel in Bournemouth which specialises in offering 'the girlfriend experience' – a caring, gentle service. Tessa, Suzie, Poppy and Amber navigate the world of s*x work and the ways in which it does (or doesn't) tangle up with their personal lives.

Expect funny, quickfire dialogue, heartfelt moments, female friendship, more di**os than you've ever seen on the Kelvin stage, and the pursuit of meaningful connections.
