🌟 What a day yesterday was! 🌟

A year ago, I was terrified to stand up and give a 60-second pitch. Fast forward to now - I was a guest speaker at an amazing networking event in Bath! 🤯🎤

I promised myself that 2025 would be the year I step out of my comfort zone - and wow, it’s already happening! 🚀✨

😅 Was I nervous? Oh, absolutely.
🎉 Was I excited? 100%.
…AND I even managed to make people laugh! 🤭

It’s wild how much can change when you keep pushing yourself, no matter how scary it feels. This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been so worth it. 💪

Sounds glamorous, right? Thanks to my amazing childminder, I usually get to focus on smashing client goals during the day. 🙌✨

But let’s be real - when my little one is off childcare, I’m squeezing work into nap times 😴 or powering through emails in the evenings 🌙.

It’s chaotic, but I’m so grateful for the flexibility to make it all work. ❤️

🚨 SPOILER ALERT 🚨 Buckle up, because we’re about to get real about working from home! 🏡✨

Everyone hypes it up like it’s the dream, and sure, it can be! But let me tell you—working from home as a boy toddler mum? GAME. CHANGER. 🤯👶 I thought I’d be living my Pinterest-office fantasy 🪴✨ or at least have a cute desk setup. Guess what? My actual “office” is… the kitchen or the living room 😅. Yep, that’s where the magic happens (when Stasio’s with the childminder, obvs—because WORKING AND PARENTING? Lol, impossible! 🙃 Unless I want Ms. Rachel babysitting, which is a hard no, because my boy is more curious about my laptop than Cocomelon! 😂💻)

And don’t even get me started on the idea of working from cute cafés ☕️📸, meeting other freelancers, and living the dream. Sounds great, right? Well, here’s the tea: not happening as much as I thought it would. If my to-do list is STACKED, I need that sweet, sweet peace and quiet at home 🧘‍♀️ (when the toddler tornado is out of the house, of course).

🎯 Goals vs Reality! Did I smash all my 2024 goals? Of course not… but here’s what I did accomplish! ✨

Some goals take longer than 365 days, and honestly, that’s fine. Here’s a little reality check for 2024👇

1️⃣ “Invest in Myself on Different Levels”
🧐 What did I even mean by this? Only past me knows!
✨ Reality: I’ve grown so much this year. I’ve built my own unique brand, learnt to set boundaries, and finally know when to say “no”. Most importantly, I’ve stopped pretending to be someone else online. I’m fun, honest, and real – and it feels great!

2️⃣ Visit at Least 2 Countries 🌍
😏 This one was a bit cheeky since I knew we were going to New York and Poland!
✨ Reality: Ended up visiting 5 countries: USA, Poland, Germany, Belgium and Wales (several times 😂). Oh, and yes, I finally had a proper German Doner Kebab on the way back from Poland! 😋

3️⃣ Run a Successful Company 💼
😂 What was I thinking?! I’m not even a company – I’m a freelancer!
✨ Reality: While I can’t yet call it “successful”, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Who knows – maybe in 5 years, I’ll look back and say, “Yep, I built something amazing!”

4️⃣ Work Smarter, Not Harder 🧠
🤦‍♀️ How naïve of me to think this was possible as a toddler mum working from home!
✨ Reality: It’s chaotic, but I’d still choose this over being employed again. No regrets – just learning to embrace the madness!

5️⃣ Move to a Bigger House 🏡
😂 Let’s face it, this was more of a dream than a proper goal!
✨ Reality: It would’ve meant giving up my business and going back to a 9-5, and my husband reminded me that would’ve been my biggest regret. Maybe our dream home hasn’t gone on the market yet? Who knows what’s ahead!

🌟 What I’ve Learned:
Not every goal needs to be “achieved” in a year. Some are stepping stones for the future, and that’s okay!

💼 2025 Business Goal: Get out of my comfort zone and be more visible online. No more excuses!
💖 Personal Goal: Simply live happy and healthy. That’s it.

YOU HATE IT OR LOVE IT!

Happy Friday! 🤭 Did you know that tomorrow is Cheese Lover Day? 🧀Why not invite your loved ones and indulge in a delicious cheese board? I certainly plan to!

How has your week been? Are you enjoying a quiet January or is it busier than usual? My week has been quite hectic!

To stay on top of things, I created a 'weekly game plan' for myself to ensure that I achieve all of my goals. I've also set up my home office, but it's not perfect yet. I still need to get floating shelves and rearrange the furniture to make it more spacious.
In addition, I attended my first formal networking meeting at Bristol Property Networking event! It was a bit of a challenge for me as I had to step out of my comfort zone again. However, I'm hopeful that one day it will come naturally to me, and I'll be comfortable speaking about myself and what I do.

This morning, I'm attending another networking event, but this time it's online! I'm curious to see how it'll go.

Is 9 days in NYC enough? 🗽🌎✨ That depends! 🤭 Not sure, if my answer will be any helpful but hey, it’s only my opinion after all ha ha! 😝 Why I wrote that it depends? 🤔 Everyone has a unique style of sightseeing. Some of you may prefer waking up early and spend all day exploring and ticking off all ‘must sees’🚶✅ And some of you would rather stay late in bed and relax. Both styles are equally good 🤩 Not gonna lie, but I’ve created way too busy schedule for us! 😂 I haven’t considered one crucial matter - our 1 year old son! 🤭 He was absolutely brilliant but sometimes we had to stop to fed him, change his nappy, avoid loud streets so he could have his nap. Somehow we’ve managed it all 🤗 We’ve seen most of things I planned but I came back exhausted ha ha! So today, I leave for you 6 tips before traveling to NYC. Check the comments for tips 👇🏻

✈️Quick travel tip: Where to find the best pizza in NYC? 🍕🗽🌎 I knew from the moment we’ve booked our tickets that we have to visit @delizia73 🤩 Pizza tasted even better than I remembered 🤤 My top three choices: 🍕 White Slice 🍕 Grandma Vodka Slice 🍕 Calzone with meat sauce on the side If you want to feel welcome, get the real New York slice or pasta, just go there. It’s so worth the trip to 73rd Street and 1st Avenue 😌 I wish,that one day they’ll open one in Bristol!
