After having a good first outing with the new branding, we’re spending some time to tidy up the van and get rid of the last remnants of the nacho hatch 🥲.

“Artemis, in Greek religion, the goddess of wild animals, the hunt, and vegetation…the goddess of wild nature, who danced, usually accompanied by nymphs, in mountains, forests, and marshes. Artemis embodied the sportsman’s ideal, so besides killing game she also protected it...this was the Homeric significance of the title Mistress of Animals.”

We all need to be better to our environment, and sometimes the sacrifices people make to try and help end up jeopardising biodiversity and environmental recovery elsewhere. The trendy avocado requires devastatingly wasteful amounts of water, soy production is rapidly wiping out the amazon (predominantly for farmed animal feed), and these and many more of our modern staples and are flown half way across the world, perpetuating monocultures and carbon being pumped into our atmosphere.

With 'Artemis', the aim is to provide delicious street food that focuses heavily on having a positive environmental impact. Every effort will be made to ensure that everything sold is locally sourced, seasonal, organic, sustainably grown and/or wild.

Meat-eater, veggie, vegan and gluten-free will all be catered for responsibly. With bread bowls in the winter to warm your bones, burgers and hot dogs in the summer for a quick bite before the next boogie, Artemis will have you covered.
