AnExperience ~ Sweet n soulful Saturday night

This Saturday (after the day party)

Steve rice + Kesh + friends will be playing a whole heap of feel good music to make you jive, sing, swing somebody around & just have an awesome Saturday night.

It’s free before 11 and a £5 door tax after to help cover the speaker costs

Powered by downbeat melody soundsystem

This’ll be a musical treat.

To be able to play music with a man who has taught me so much about music over the years is a real honour.

We will be playing R’n’b, soul, ska, rock n roll, rocksteady, salsa, Cumbia, reggae, highlife, and just a whole lot of songs to make you smile and get loose

Dionne asked if we wanted to throw a party with her n we said yes obviously

Dionne’s sorting the grub, we’re sorting the tunes.

It’s gunna be lush.

Soul, reggae, ska, lovers rock, dancehall, R’n’b, maybe some salsa, coupla cheeky tunes as the sun goes down but mostly just lovely music to make you smile and feel happy.

A huge thank you to everybody who supported our crowd funder.

We were scared to put it up and felt really anxious about reaching out our hand for help especially when so much is deeply wrong in the world.

The response has been pretty mind blowing and we feel incredibly held and cared for by the community. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We’re doing everything we can to make the festival happen again.

As soon as we’re back on our feet we will be throwing some community focussed parties as a thank you.

We will also be running some parties that are more suitable for families + young people and offering some free party throwing workshops for youngsters as we won’t be doing this forever and they are the future.

Just wanted to say a proper thank you now that the dust has settled.

The community have done so much for us recently

We’re very touched by the amount of care and love we’ve received in a tricky time.

In that spirit we’ve decided to throw a FREE day party before our party at the trinity center on Friday night

Big poppa steve rice has agreed to bring his beautiful old soundsystem into the trinity centre garden and run tunes from 5-10pm before we open doors for our festival afterparty.

We’ve racked our brains on how we can give something back to the community as a thank you for your support and thought this would be a pretty nice way to do it

Honestly, I think we’ve got one of the most caring crowds in the world.

You guys actually give a s**t and that’s something to celebrate.

We really bloody love you

Some honest words about where we are at as a party throwing organisation and what you can do to help keep the dream alive.

We want to run AnExperience festival again.

We’ve always believed that people make a place, and YOU made the place something extraordinary.

You are kind, hilarious, generous and really really good at dancing.

Thank you for believing in us enough to make the trip up the M4.

If we are going to do it again, we NEED YOUR HELP.
We are music people, not business people, and well … we f*cked it.

Hands up & lessons learned, we lost more money than we’ve ever had in our lives.

We tried to make it accessible for people who aren’t rich and in turn we have become very poor ourselves …

Whilst we aren’t rich in money, we are rich in friendship. I wouldn’t swap that for all the money in the world.

Whether this crowdfunder gets us back on our feet or not, I am happy we put the party on.

Seeing peoples eyes twinkling was something that money can’t buy.

Proud of the whole team.
Proud of everybody who brought the joy and the laughter.

We want this to continue for many years to come but without your help that really may be our last party.

We put our hearts n souls into it and if that’s the last one then it is what it is.
