Welcome all to the Dalek Cuthbert page. Just a little place on Facebook run by his human-slave, Andy - who also happens to be a bit of a Whovian, in case you hadn't guessed already.

I'd wanted an Imperial Dalek ever since I was a 7 year old boy, watching Remembrance of The Daleks on TV, absolutely GRIPPED to the story each week as it unfolded! To this very day, it remains my favourite ever Doctor Who story.

Cuthbert was commissioned in 2022 and built by a lovely friend, Steve Allen, who was able to recreate most of the Dalek unit from moulds taken from one of the original props. He's a fibreglass build (with some metal and 3D printed parts thrown in) - and yes, he can talk, move, light up. He can also fire his gun! EXTERMINATE!

He made his debut public appearance at Pandorica 2023 in Bristol, which is run by the FANTASTIC Fantom Events. Cuthbert is currently signed by Sophie Aldred (Ace), who has also sat in him - and she even (accidentally) struck him with her baseball bat. True story. And there's video evidence on the page to back up the claim!

In addition to Cuthbert, Andy himself is busy working on several of his own prop builds, including K-9, a TARDIS, a Davros Chair, an 'antique art gallery' based on the story Silver Nemesis, and a Hand of Omega, all of which will be interactive.

Cuthbert and the other props are potentially available for other events in the south west. Although I do not charge for Cuthbert or any of the other props to make appearances, I may ask for entry tickets to events or the cost of fuel/van hire etc. Feel free to enquire and I'll see what is feasible.
