Good news for all of you lovers of Christmas wreath making!! Our Christmas wreath making course is now available to book. The details are:

Saturday 30th November, 10am to 12.30pm at the stunning Barley Wood House in Wrington. Come and join me for a couple of hours of festive fun and creativity!!

Just casting my mind back a few weeks ago to Carly and Pat's wedding at the beautiful Elmhay Park. I loved working with this gorgeous colour palette of bright coral Peonies, Dahlias and Roses as the statement blooms, and various tones of whites, peach and apricot peppered with pops of blue and orange hues. A real pleasure to create!!

I’m soooo happy when my cut flower beds starts to bloom! I’ve used a no dig method this year too, so even better. I’ve added classic country garden white Antirrhinum and lacey Ammi into this beautifully romantic wedding table scape!!

I managed to squeeze in a quick snap shot of part of the floral set up for Carly and Pat’s wedding, yesterday at the stunning @elmhaypark_orchardleigh. The weather very kindly stayed fare for them to have their ceremony outside! Congratulations to you both!! 💕

Barley Wood Floristry is an independent florist providing beautiful arrangements for weddings, funerals and occasions as well as fun and creative workshops. We are based at our studio in the beautiful Barley Wood Walled Garden, Wrington, overlooking the Mendip Hills.

Our floral designs are often influenced by the world around us, whether from watching the seasons change, or admiring the textures and colours in our surroundings. We also take inspiration from our client’s ideas and themes for their important or special event.

We love passing on our knowledge to our workshop customers, seeing everyone having fun, enjoying the abundance of flowers, and exploring their creativity to produce unique and beautifully finished arrangements.

When we’re not creating or teaching, we tend the flower beds here at the walled garden, cultivating the current season’s finest flowers.
