Has been a very soggy start to the week in Bristol not good for our Vitamin D in take but good for the admin .
I have a little breather in my wedding season so am catching up desk work and getting quotes and mood boards out to everybody.

A beautiful day for the best and beautiful people! We are almost halfway through wedding season and enjoying all the colour I have booked into this .

One of my favourite autumnal weddings . The weather may feel like autumn but autumnal flowers are some of my favourites . Charlotte and Charlie’s early autumnal flowers were that beautiful combination of ranunculus, dahlias and early berries .

Some Winter wedding flowers in May ….. It’s hard to know what flowers will be in season when you get married particularly in winter . I think winter gets a bad press when it comes to wedding flowers. There are so many alternative flower combinations out there for the winter months with a great selection of flowers with some of my favourites such as ranunculus and hellebores. Bex and Sarah’s winter wedding we played with teals , creams and browns to reflect the time of year but not make it festive (they got married on the 28th December). Are you getting married in winter ? What’s your colour theme ?

It’s sunny 🌞 and beach weather . Charlotte and Joe had the perfect beach wedding in Jersey . Blue and white tones with natural fibres. Are you have a beach / seaside wedding ? What’s your inspiration? It’s a busy time of year over here prepping for forthcoming weddings and also chatting to new couples about their weddings - one of my favourite parts. This weekend no weddings and giving the garden a serious glow up and working on my straplines 🧴

Hot pinks with corals for Amelia and Dan’s summer wedding last year . August is always a great time to play around with all the seasonal flowers and incorporating colour . Whatever colour scheme you choose Dot and the Dandlelion always aim for wild and natural designs and a range of tones and textures.

I had a lovely time over the weekend displaying in the dining room alongside some amazing suppliers. and I created a brunch table scape setup playing with the tones of the pink dining room and setting up a decadent table . It was a real group effort with on wedding stationery and making the most delicious baby wedding cakes 🎂

A Somerset country wedding from last summer . Absorbing all my vitamin D for the foreseeable from these photos. A beautiful lined marquee in the grounds of Hatch House . We created two foliage hoops to hang in the marquee with small tables urns and bud vases filled with beautiful summer flowers.

At the moment it’s very admin heavy over here however I’m getting excited about all the weddings coming up . For now it my beautiful pals Charlotte and Charlie’s Wi******er wedding . An early October wedding meant it was peak autumnal flowers(my favourites) cosmos and dahlias. We dressed the marquee with dried hops, wired strawflowers and fairy lights .
