Are you getting married this year ? Are you yet to book your wedding florist ?
Dot and the Dandelion have a January offering . For every couple that enquires and books their wedding flowers in January we will be adding an additional £300 floral design towards their wedding flowers . Check out our highlights for more details .
If you are interested head to our website and fill out our enquiry form.
After you have done this please check your spam - a lot of our emails are ending up there and keep checking there even if you remove the emails from spam some seem to still be ending up there ! Anyone know how I fix this ?

We have a January discount for couples getting married in 2025 who are looking to book their wedding florist .
We will be gifting a £300 floral design to all couples who enquire and book their wedding flowers with us in January
The wedding budget minimum must be £1,500 (not including the £300)
The enquiry and booking must take place in January
The offering is only for 2025 weddings .

2024 it’s been a goody ! Definitely one of the more celebratory and adventurous ones for me . The flowers have been magic thank you to all my lovely couples who trusted me with their flowers and all those 🧚‍♀️ who helped me create the designs in particular , .flowerpuff.girls , and - the ribbons were real.
A lot of my favourite people in the world got married this year and it was beyond special to make all their flowers (advice to any doing friends flowers and attending wedding - book a hair dresser appointment day of wedding and remember there are 24 hours in a day if you should need them )
I’m excited about all my lovely 2025 couples so far can’t wait to start work on all the flowers .
I am take stock and manifesting ideas this winter ❄️ hopefully leading to exciting new journeys in 2025.
I am quite witchy around New Year’s resolutions but there are some less serious but still important ins and outs. What are yours ? #2025

Happy Winter ❄️ Solstice a time in the year when the wheel takes pause before the new sun cycle begins . Solstice marks the longest night in the year , afterwards the sun slowly returns to us.
Dressing our homes with evergreens is a Celtic tradition. Each foliage represents different aspects of the life cycle . This is also why we make wreaths . The wreath represents the wheel turning towards the sun 🌞.

Winter weddings are some of my favourite to design. They are quieter creations and often involve thinking outside the box .
Couples often think due to the time of year that the flower selection will be limited for their winter wedding but it’s not true ! There are so many directions your wedding flowers can explore : winter whites , playing with all the pines and evergreen , using early spring bulbs and moss . There are so many options but I also love creating classic Christmas flowers such as Harriet and George’s Christmas wedding at North Cadbury Court . We really leaned into the festive season with red , whites and greens , with a hint of a festive pink because I love a festive pink 🎄

Christmas is coming . It’s been a wreath based week at Dot and the Dandelion but we are still busy doing wedding consultations and taking bookings for 2025 .

Christmas is coming and wreath season is upon us ! This year wreaths are based on ‘Edward Scissorhands’ . There are four styles to choose from and can be shipped across the uk. You will notice in the pictures there is some ribbon . This ribbon was just for the photos however if you would like some be sure to get your order in as we will send some with the first orders ( although we already have orders so be sure to get your order in quick! )

If you would like your wreath by the 7th December the cut off order date is the 27th November . All orders placed after that we will aim to deliver by the 13th December . Final order day is the 10th December .

Finally Dot and the Dandelion will be hosting only one wreath workshop this year at .303 on Gloucester Road on the 4th December at 6pm . It’s £65 per person and if you would like to come along please email [email protected]

This year Dot and the Dandelions Christmas wreaths are based on ‘Edward Scissorhands’ . There are four to choose from (in photographic order ) ‘Topiary Garden’, ‘Ice Dance’ , ‘Ballet de Suburbia’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’ .

I say this every year but I am going to try and keep wreaths simple this year and not go mad on orders so if you would like one please pre order. I am hoping the wreaths will be on my website by the weekend but if you would like to order one on here dm me .

Peg from the film is one of my favourite characters ever she is so positive and accepts Edward exactly as he is from the moment she meets him even though he is a little different . Peg energy is the energy we should all aspire to particularly as we enter the festive period 💛

Happy Samhain ! The end of the Celtic year , a time to go rest and regeneration before the return of the Sun at Solstice . Winter can feel so long and dark in UK but it’s actually only a very small period of time (now till the 21st December ) that it’s still getting darker . From then on the Sun kings returns and we have to slowly build and unfurl till the height of energy in the summer solstice. So enjoy this short time of being going inwards we need it just like the seeds and the bulbs so we can pop up come spring 🎃plus it’s good time to see ghosts !

A bit of colour on this very gloomy Wednesday in Bristol . Autumn is officially here . Looking back at sunnier summer days . Tids and Zar got married this June in Tids parents garden under a tree 🌳. One of my favourite wedding colour ways of the summer lots of bright and joyful colours . What’s your wedding 🎨 ?

It’s been a busy few months getting through our final weddings of the year and looking forward to next years couples and weddings .
