ππ 2 questions to ask your wedding floristππ
It can be overwhelming knowing where to start with wedding flowers.
Here are my top 2 most popular questions and answers π.
π1. What does my budget cover?
It is always easier for both you and your florists to know what budget you have in mind. It is a complete guessing game for couples knowing how much to budget flowers and what your budget could cover!
So....as a starting point we suggest your floral budget account for 10-15% of your overall wedding budget.
If you are looking for Pinterest-worthy, abundant design,β―we would suggest allocating 20-25% of your total wedding budget.
Most of our couples spend between Β£2,000-Β£4,000 but some spend less or budget more based on your preferences.
From your initial inquiry to clear down/ collection & farewells the day after your wedding.
πThe Lucy Coco Process π
*ENQUIRY-Get in touch & confirm our availability.
*DESIGN Q&A - Get-to-know-you questionnaire, asking key questions about your priorities for the big day.
*RECOMMNEDATION- We talk about budgets and deliverables, plans and priorities.
*DETAILS- Final Design guides and planning
*THE BIG DAY Donβt stress and enjoy the day!
The Lucy Coco team has all the details covered and will be on-site managing the setup so you can just relax and say "I do".
The following day we will be back to wish you a huge Congrats and to collect and clear down!

π How much do wedding flowers cost? π€·ββοΈ It's so overwhelming knowing how much to budget for your wedding flowers.
Here's a summary of what you can expect to receive from us within your budget.
β¨There is a lot of flexibility when it comes to sorting through a budget for your wedding flowers.
Itβs important to know, as a couple, how important fresh flowers are for your wedding day β you may feel flowers arenβt a central focus for your day or you may feel your flowers are βthe thingβ that will bring your unique day to life.
Also, give some consideration to your venue: does it need the additional decor florals provide or is it a beautiful venue itself and you donβt need to go over the top?
πAs a good rule of thumb, we suggest your floral budget account for 10-15% of your overall wedding budget.
πIf, on the other hand, you are looking for Pinterest-worthy, abundant design,β―we would suggest allocating 20-25% of your total wedding budget.
Most of our couples spend between Β£2,000-Β£4,000 but some spend less or budget more based on your preferences.

Floral bud vases for Ellie and Joe's beautiful wedding .
My tip with bud vases is M O R E is M O R E.
They are gorgeous when used in abundance, too few and you run the risk of it looking a little empty and underwhelming.
Also try using them interspersed with low bowl arrangements.
Here we have gorgeous rouge rose hips, caramel chrysanthemum, cappuccino roses and chestnut bunny tail grasses ππ€π§‘β€οΈ π π π

Jamie and Fiona's wedding last week was so seasonal, they really leaned into the autumnal palette and halloween vibes. Held at the amazing @hensolcastle we worked with a palette of jewel tones.
Gorgeous bold orange pumpkins were hollowed out and filled with seasonal flowers.
Colours of rich burnt orange, velvet reds, opulent purples and deep pink. We added touches of soft peach to soften, lift and accentuate the rich palette.
Finished with layers of scented forest greens, the pumpkin, floral and foliage scent was spectacular.
Such a joy to create and they looked so cool! β€οΈππ

Hello, Iβm Lucy Coco, a passionate freelance florist and lover of big, bright, British blooms.
Established in 2015, I have flowered a lot of wonderful days from big weddings to small parties to numerous photo shoots. I design bespoke flower creations for every occasion, including that βjust becauseβ bouquet, right here in my garden studio in Wales.
If youβre looking for a creative florist to help bring your floral vision to life, Iβm your woman!
I know a lot about flowers
Iβve always had a passion for nature, and am so grateful to have a job that lets me spend so much time in the great outdoors. In 2016, I completed the academy master floristry training programme with the prestigious British Academy of Floral Art gaining a level 2 with credit.
It began with a trip to India. The marigolds, the saris β wherever I went, a rainbow followed. Iβve always had a love of vintage styling, but the experience inspired me to learn more about natural produce. Then there was the exotic flora, so loved by my favourite artist, Frida Kahlo. I wanted, I realised, to work with growing things and I wanted to work with colour. What I wanted, I realised, was to become a florist.
In order to develop my floristry skills, I thought it was important to learn from the best and In 2014 I started working with many of the top Bristol florists and growers.
Now, Iβm a freelance florist. I specialise in creating naturally wild arrangements for weddings in Wales, ( and the surrounding area) special occasions and big seasonal events.
