The general manager has called me back into one of these Agricultural Education Centre's with a huge influx of avian pests on the yards, it's not just what they are eating it's the amount of poo everywhere that's becoming a public health issue, they have tried everything from bird of prey kites and callers, scarecrows even gas guns but to mo avail.
Funny how as soon as I drop a few they soon learn the difference when I have a Mossberg Bang Bang Stick in my hand, well actually a pop pop stick in this case.
The farm manager has built me a wonderful bale hide with seat to shoot from and has agreed to leave it in position for a few weeks for me, very kind I must say so.
I have several other visits booked for this site and their other 3 sites, so you will see more of me here me thinks.

Having just attended The British Empire Medal (BEM) presentation ceremony at The American Museum here in Bath Somerset.
The ceremony was headed up by Mohammad Sidaq the Lord Leftenant of Somerset and his awesome team.
I was one of only 6 BEMs being awarded this year here in Somerset, I was truly honoured to be amongst such worthy and deserving inspirational people.
I was recieving the award as the founding member of Pass It On Young Sports, my dedication to young people, Conservation and Country Sports as well as heading up The Somerset Branch of The Masonic Fishing Charity.
I did have to question why me? as what I do for Conservation, Country Sports and Young People etc is just natural to me and was this worthy of such an honour.
The Lord Leftenant really impressed what I had achieved on me as he presented me with this medal, I am feeling overwhelmed and truly honoured and humbled by all this.
Afterwards we had a reception where champagne and locally produced cakes were served, where we all got a chance to mingle and chat.
I met some very prominent people like the High Sheriff of Somerset, a Colonel, a Major, the Head of Somerset Council and many other peers of this community.
As always I was flying the Somerset Freemasonry flag and The Adair Club.
My beautiful Partner joined me as did my Dad, Madeline and old chum Chippy as my guests.
A truly wonderful ceremony steeped in history as this was evident in the presentations and recitals by the various officers there.
Feeling truly honoured and humbled by it all.
