A week full of flowers working with the Soil Association on the BOOM awards, a floral installation, floral vintage bottles and herbs in terracotta pots all went off to the Paintworks for this event held every other year recognising and celebrating the best of the organic. It just had to be

The last few weeks have been like a whirlwind with workshops, group visits, British Flowers Week and a photoshoot on the hottest day of the year. We It goes without saying the heat and drought are a huge challenge, but the flowers are still blooming and the field is full of colour. We hope to add some workshops to the website for the Autumn, we are watching the weather and hopefully we'll get some much needed rain.

At last we've had some rain, nowhere near enough, but it has meant we've been able to continue some outside planting, and its all change with the flowers, the Larkspur, Canterbury bells and the outside roses have all made their entrance. The good news is the bouquets are now back and can be ordered online

its been a while... so much has been going on at OB, we're busy trying to plant out the annuals, the dry weather is slowing things up but the polytunnels have been a priority as they are irrigated.
The Sweet Williams are in full swing and the heady scent of Sweet Peas fill the air in the warm polytunnel.
We still have a few places on the workshop at Acton Court, they open their gates from Wednesday 28th May, such a wonderful place to visit
