Resurrection plant, also known as Rose of Jericho, is a type of spike moss that can survive for several years without water, drying up and curling its fronds inwards into a ball shape. When watered, it will unfurl and be resurrected into a green, mossy plant. When grown as a houseplant, resurrection plants prefer bright, indirect sunlight and require no soil at all. They will grow happily in a bowl of pebbles just barely covered with water. Dedicate at least one day a week as a water free rest day. Rose of Jericho is happy in average room temperatures. However avoid placing them in locations next to drafty vents or windows.
