What a start to 2025.

What a lovely group of wreath makers.
So great to see lots of different groups. A mum and son, a young couple, best friends, daughters and mum all wanting to share the experience of making a wreath for Christmas together.
It was particularly heartening to see a few familiar faces too, I love that you come back each year.

With the last few workshops over the weekend and a table centre workshop next Thursday evening it is nearly time to make my own wreath, and with some absolutely brilliant wreaths made this year the bar has been set really high.

Been out today gathering all the lovely evergreen foliage from this time of year ready for my wreath workshops that start on Saturday.

I love traditional yew, but use it turned over to show off it's yellow tinged side. And of course, I couldn't be without those divine round ivy berries that add so much shape and interest to a wreath.
