🪩 Venue Focus - Black Cultural Archives 🪩 2025 will be the 3rd year of our partnership with the home of Black British History, Black Cultural Archives as part of @brixtondiscofestival on Saturday 5 May 2025. With it’s location at 1 Windrush Square, in the heart of Brixton, we are honoured to be able to integrate Black Cultural Archives once again, utilising their stunning courtyard. The wonderful Kirollus was our first headliner back in 2023, kicking off at around 4pm. As we announced the venue so late, and didn’t announce Kirollus until the day, it took a little time to fill up, but once it did, the vibes were strong, and the sun shone all day. Details on plans for BCA in 2025 closer to the festival.

What a cracking addition to the festival roster @brixtonjamm was on Saturday. Helped along by our Number 54 Routemaster bus, the venue was full early and remained packed for the whole day. @faithfanzine held fort on the terrace and middle room throughout, with a cracking lineup, whilst @dontfkwithdisco brought the heat by night in the club, after sister party @upontheroofbrixton resident and co-founder @rob_alldritt and @funkymusak had warmed things up nicely in the club. The next UOTR is @brixtonjamm on Bank Holiday Sunday with bdf favourite - Mr @dimitrifromparisofficial - we have got 100 tickets available for just £5 via the comments below as a post BDF treat. Daydream Disco join us for the very first time at Brixton Disco Festival on Saturday 4 May, and they are bringing their wonderful mobile trailer stage as they host the BCA stage! This mobile trailer is a masterful creation, meticulously handcrafted and designed with attention to detail, the trailer serves as a portable haven of rhythm and groove. Daydream Disco are a soul, disco and funk collective with the mission to connect people through the power of music.
