Blake Sonnet, a singer guitarist who performs an eclectic mix of music with tracks that include, The Beatles, Credence Clearwater Revival, Tears For Fears, Oasis and many more. There is a song for everyone in his sets. Blake’s voice is powerful and has a soulful edge. Blake is unusual for a solo performer in that he plays an electric guitar and stomp pedal. From ballads to Rocknroll.
Blake has been delighting audiences across London and Kent with his music.
You are sure to be singing along, dancing and smiling the whole time.

Don't forget that it's the last fireworks night tonight! We have Ozzie and the Uglies playing from 8pm and the fireworks are set to go off at approximately 9:45pm.

The last display of the summer season is tommorow, we have got a fantastic display lined up , an amazing band Ozzie & the Uglies , and weve organised the weather too as the forecast is looking good.
Last year Ozzies had the whole bandstand audience dancing and singing, apparently they are going to better it this year !
Small childrens funfair rides and stalls, food and drink on Victoria Gardens and at the Bandstand Cafe.
Music starts at 8pm, Fireworks are scheduled for 9.45 ( timings may change subject to the weather ) .
TDC Public toilets will NOT be open ( dont blame us !) but we are providing Portaloos at the entrance to Victoria Gardens.
To keep everyone safe we have Kent Police and Probe Security patrolling, along with Margate Ambulance Corp providing medical services by the shelters next to Victoria Gardens.
The costs of staging these events is significant, and put on by a small local team of volunteers ( financial support is given by Broadstairs & St Peters Town Council, Broadstairs & St Peters Chamber of Commerce, Thorley Taverns, Morellis, Visit Broadstairs,
Roy Irving, Royal Albion Hotel )

Lastly- please only buy glow novelties from the official stall at the bandstand, sellers that turn up along the prom are NOT invited or authorised and make NO contribution at all to the costs of these events. 😡
