We had a great day with our front of house students, the team are in week 4 and are coming on strong. We had first years developing and producing mocktails and serving our guests with our level 3’s supervising. James is a new student, today he performed flambés for our guests, this is not about just the cookery, that is a bonus, it’s building confidence in students, it’s giving them the ability to interact with the public, listen and take orders, solve problems, work as a team, deal with money, all lessons and soft skills to boost their employability and prepare them for work. #lifelessons

It was a fantastic night with in a gala dinner for 700 incredible chefs including Alain Ducasse, Clare Smyth and Angela Hartnett.
It wasn't Eden's time this year but we are sure her time will come.

When your students Highjack your IPad...
So, my iPad was hijacked this week, service was over and we were relaxed, relaying the restaurant. Cleo and Maia decided to do a little video, I wasn't sure what I would find when I pressed play, but was over the moon when I found this promotional gem!
