A wonderful Mehndi evening for Amy and Roshi.
Guests arrived through our front main entrance welcomed by a greeting board and walked along the path flanked by plants (will be wonderful in the summer), then Ganesha the remover of obstacles welcomed them to the hall. Delicious food, wonderful decor and music made this extra special for the couple.

With Spring in the air, we held our first Seed Swop day at Amrita Hall. With a focus on home grown fruit, vegetables, herbs and beautiful flowers, we can't wait to see some of your photos from your new seeds. Gardening books were donated, information about Heritage seeds and EACH (Environmental Action Coney Hall) gave a talk on some of their amazing work. We also donated a rather special cherry tree to their cause.
If you would like to know more about Green Friends and the amazing work, please do contact us. We have further things planned for this year.

The stage set of our first Indian classical musical concert later tonight.
Chandra Chakraborty, a leading Indian classical vocalist who will need no introduction to those familiar with the Indian classical music scene in Western Europe and elsewhere.
Shabhaz Hussain, regarded as one of the leading tabla virtuosos of his generation and has received numerous accolades for his captivating performances.
