👌🏼The Perfect Funeral Tribute That Can Be Repurposed👌🏼

We have a lot of people ask us ‘What happens to the flowers after the funeral service?’. What happens to the tributes is entirely your choice; they can either stay at the crematorium, placed on a grave or taken home. We often suggest that if the family wish to take the tribute home and ‘repurpose’ them, a sheaf is the perfect tribute for this. We even provide a care pack upon ordering or pass on to the funeral directors alongside the tribute so the sheaf can be taken home, resteamed and placed in a vase.

This beautiful sheaf was delivered this morning and will be taken home and enjoyed for days to come.

We are a busy, floristry business based in Bromsgrove, looking to recruit a qualified florist with at least 1 year experience in a florist shop to work alongside our existing, professional team of florists!

With a high volume of orders and an ever increasing foot flow, we require at least two florists working in the shop at all times, meaning the successful applicant will be given the support required to settle in and learn how our shop runs.

Skills and attributes required are:-
🌸Funeral work
🌸Wedding work and venue dressing
🌸Creating everyday, floral giftware
🌸Able to work in the shop independently if required when your settling in period is complete.
🌸Excellent communication skills
🌸Computer skills
🌸Work extra at peek times (Mother’s Day, Valentines Day, Christmas, Wedding season)
🌸Full UK driving licence

Hours negotiable to suit both applicant and the needs of the shop! We are a team, we work together 🫶🏻

🇬🇧The Most Magnificent Tribute For A Member Of The Coldstream Guards🇬🇧

So the last few days we have been working on something rather special.

We had the most lovely family come in for a funeral consultation. Their much loved father, grandfather and great grandfather had been a member of the British Army who served as a Coldstream Guard. The family wanted something ‘WOW’ and I think we did just that with this spectacular piece.

A three and a half by two foot designer board, transformed into the military flag. With help from our friends at Bromsgrove Printing Co who produced the stunning emblem on foam board which was hand cut to create the shape was the main focal point; our team box pleat edged the entire circumference of the flag to neaten, cut and inserted approximately 20 bunches of Bonita chrysanthemum to form the base of the designer board and applied 6 tins of floral spray paint in total! When dry, the emblem was then applied on top of a built up secure base and to complete, two personalised sashes. A stand was then used so the flag would be displayed perfectly in the hearse.
