The film of residual paint, leftover from many, many of our students’ ideas, experiments, ‘gone rights’ & ‘gone wrongs’ over 12 months worth of art classes & workshops - will not go to waste.
All those speckles of paint will now be used in our Residue Canvas... kinda cool.

🎬 LAA studio has been used to create footage for x2 music videos for Joe’s band this afternoon.
Joe founded JRUM, a drum studio with a difference, here in the grounds of LAA.
The music video is using some of Lorna’s & LAA’s students’ paintings & sculptures, experimenting with creative space, leading to unique stills, short reels & shots, ready to edit into the final piece.
Cultivating new ideas, nurturing creativity & encouraging experimentation.

Recorded & performed by a complete beginner student who began drum sessions in May.
Recording yourself playing to music is the best way to showcase your skills and measure your progress. It’s even better if you’re playing to music where YOU are the only drummer. By using industry standard equipment and software, students can create unique tracks such as this from scratch to take home and show to friends and family, as well as keep a record of how well they’re improving.
