£30 from 9AM until Noon
£30 from 1pm until 4pm * (Sunday hire from 1pm onwards only)
£50 9AM until 4PM

Evening hire £35 5pm until 9pm.

Further discounted rate for block bookings.

PERFECT, comfortable place to hold space for group gatherings, craft, talks, retreats, circle work.

22ft yurt
Log burner
1 acre of private woodland with private river access deep enough to swim in areas.
Separate kitchenette unit, dining table sitting 6, two ring gas hob, pots and pans, cups etc.
Toilet, urinal, hot water sink, shower.

Note: ALL dog poopy parcels are to be picked up and disposed of… we have wandering, barefoot wildlings, roaming ALL our hedgrows, long grass and woodlands… please dont have them crawl through your dogs waste 💩.

We are based on a working sheep farm 🐑 … worth noting in The Lake District SHEEP COME FIRST, before people and pooches! We LUUUURRRVE 💕 our sheep and will take a sheeps side no matter what the occassion, incident or event. Please keep your dogs a respectful distance and under control around live stock at ALL TIMES.

WE’VE DONE IT 💪🫶 The Study Cuby is up and running this August as our new kitchen space! Allowing the Wilding Yurt Stays to go from sleeping 4 to sleeping 6!

BIG LOVES to Saska for her keen eye and flatpack skills and to Mummy Kim for the jolly around Manchester collected our new furniture and helping the installation 💪.

We still have a beautiful window to fit soon, allowing those tasked with brew making/cooking can gaze out to our private woodland and lal log burner, to keep our Autumn winter guests toasty.

🌞 Super Rare Availability for THE SUMMER SOLSTICE WEEKEND! 😱 🌞

As its the Solstice, we will be letting the site for only £100pn! Thats acres of private land, woodland, river deep enough for swimming. Log heated yurt, sleeping 4 with space for two more! And our new lal cabin/ kitchenette!

We can accommodate a few small tents too, at £10 per tent per night.

Once in a life time opportunity to bathe in the Northern Lights, under canvas TONIGHT ONLY.

The first person to DM us can book the yurt TONIGHT to share in this experience with their loved ones. But you ONLY HAVE UNTIL NOON to book! After that…. the kids and Meg are moving back in 😉

We had a cancellation this weekend, so the children and Meg enjoyed an phenomenal immersive experience at the yurt dancing to the visuals of the aurora. Our “Aurora Watch” says we are in for good chance to see such a majestic show again TONIGHT.

£100 per night. Sleep 4. Log burner, logs and hob and cutlery provided. PLEASE NOTE we do not provide bedding.

🌞🫶We’re releasing a wonderful opportunity for home educators, or thoses wanting to learn more about alternative living*, from across the way to meet and make new friends!🌞🫶

Openning up MID WEEK! To camping and campervan families from this island to across the globe! To join in with our living, learning and loving home educating community!

Families are welcomed from Monday- Friday to camp on our Wilding site for a FULL four nights, from MAY to the end of JULY, with access to our community’s meets. Including our on site Yurt School all day Wednesday and English Club either Thursday morning or afternoon depending on age/ ability. PLUS joining our family as we venture out into the glorious South and West Lake District with our home educating friends.

So if you are up for traveling and alternatively minded! We would love to host you from our home community of beautiful souls!

Monday- Friday ONLY (unless joining one our seasonal campouts) £100 based on four night stay, in your own portable accommodation.
Access to:
-22ft communal Yurt, with toys, books, crafts, gas hob, tea and coffee, log burner
-1 composting toilet, 1 urinal, 1 shower, 1 wash station.
-Fresh spring water on tap.
-Firepits welcome.

March brings the SPRING EQUINOX, where we gather to say good bye to Winter and welcome in the new life of Spring. 🙌 A friend in need is a friend in deed! 🙌

Our site is in much need of some weekend guests!

The word “Algorithm” sounds familiar to us, though we still dont know what it means other than its against us right now! As a family we rely on our private bookings, not just to allow us to subsidise our the weekly educational groups, but genuinely live off too.

The money we raise from our private stays pays for ballet classes, karate, climbing AND covers the cost of ALL our foodstuffs (kindly supported by Ulverston Food Project supporting low income families- As well saving the planet one bag destined for landfill at a time!)….but the start of this year for bookings just hasnt happened for us 🙁

Weve had NO bookings since the last guest left on the 2nd of Jan! And have nil pois for Feb (even half term!). We also know we arent the only ones, we also know our 4 acre private site, consisting of woodland and river are beautiful! We also know our cosy yurt with our beautiful squirrel log burner will keep even the nippiest of people snuggly warm and we also know the award winning pub only 600yards away is quite the sweetener…… so…. here comes that word we all use but not all understand ”algorithm” isnt letting us be seen.

TESTING, TESTING..... are bare feet allowed?

WE are back friends! After almost half years worth of bans! And you're all still with us! Wooooop!

Exciting plans coming for this Autumn! Yes Autumn! Its only 2 weeks away and the harvest moon is ripe for the gazing this friday!

For us this week we will be re-opening Yurt School starting with the study into Mythology in relationship to the elements of Earth, Fire, Air and Water!

We will also be hosting a small gathering to welcome in the abundance that Autumn brings, in balance with the dark nights and a move towards a restful slumber.

There is also exciting announcements to grow forth, from family herbalist meets as we are honoured to welcome and hold in our lives here Granny Herb as our wise elder for our young folk and ourselves.
Weekly woodland and yurt play meets throughout the autumn/ months will be re-established!
And to sing the success of a the second year of Rob Wilsons Woodspirit! Congratulations to him and his students, on successful second year of study into the world of animism and Celtic wisdom.

Lots going on as our weather showers us some Autumnal invites to begin to rest.

Bee protector help needed!

We are celebrating the successful creation of a pollinator happy site here at Wilding…. HOWEVER, the site in which a bumble community and Wasp community has settled in the canvas of our on site yurt!

We love all our residents here at Wildings- though we need HELP in advising or hiring a hand to move these lovelies a little less close to those that may get hurt, or hurt back our buzzing neighbours.

ALL advise welcome! Both our own children and those that use the site for Yurt School enjoy our flower loving friends.. but we need a solution that will keep both safe as the season progresses!
