Another fantastic wedding day in the picturesque village of Braughing, Hertfordshire! Lizzie and James celebrated with a beautiful church ceremony followed by an intimate reception at Mentley Farm and Lavender Fields. In their own words, “We had the most magical day!” It was filled with excitement, laughter, church bingo (yes, you read that right!), and a few near misses (wink, wink, Lizzie). Celebrating the love of Sibu and Liam at the beautiful St Michael Hotel and The Hub on Verulam in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The natural light in their suite and the orangery made for dreamy photos, even with a bit of rain! Liam’s heartfelt reading at the altar brought tears to many eyes. The rain didn’t dampen the joy though, and the celebration continued well into the night. Stay tuned for more highlights!

What an incredible weekend celebrating the epic wedding of Alex & Antoine at the breathtaking Dartmouth House! Their journey of love, which began 8 years ago, reached a beautiful climax as they said “I do” this weekend.

Alex looked radiant in her stunning three-piece wedding dress by as she walked down the aisle to marry Antoine. From the heartfelt vows to the joyous celebrations, every moment was pure magic. Their speeches had everyone in tears and laughter simultaneously. It was an honour to capture the love, laughter, and unforgettable memories of such a special day. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness!

As my wedding season nears its finale, Clarence and Joe’s intimate wedding at Goodnestone Park was nothing short of awesome. Marked with tears of happiness, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room as we witnessed their heartfelt promises to each other.

Following their exchange of vows, the joyous occasion seamlessly transitioned into an unforgettable wedding party. Laughter filled the air, and the celebration continued long into the night. From heartfelt speeches to some pretty smooth dance moves, every moment was a testament to the love and bond shared by the newlyweds and their guests.

Being entrusted to capture such an intimate and emotionally charged wedding was an honour and privilege.

To Clarence and Joe, thank you for allowing me to be part of your beautiful wedding day. Your love story is inspiring and uplifting, and may your days ahead be filled with boundless love and everlasting joy.

Hi All, Hope you’ve all had a great weekend. As promised, here’s a few more images from Hannah and Phil epic wedding day at The Gherkin in central London. I delivered their slideshow and gallery yesterday and I’m extremely chuffed that they loved it. In fact, Hannah’s exact words were “OMG Deji, we were in tears. It is beyond words. Thank you so much x”.

One of my favourite parts of the day was their dog delivering Phil’s speech (that he’d forgotten) via taxi and all forms of public transport. The video footage was hilarious and had Hannah and every guest in tears of laughter. Just brilliant planning! 10/10 Phil 👌🏽

A massive shout out to the other suppliers that brought their vision to life. Especially Clara of and Rachel of You should all give yourselves a pat on the back.

Maria and Kenny - A Wedding to Remember!

Witnessing and Kenny's wedding was an absolute delight! Their heartfelt ceremony was filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments.

Nerves? Not a chance!

Well maybe, as the odd slip of the tongue by both of them ignited the whole room into laughter several times, creating a truly memorable altar experience.

Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the love and support in the air was palpable. It was truly an honour to be part of their special day.

I’d been looking forward to and wedding since last year…..and it did not disappoint. It was just EPIC! The most entertaining groom’s speech I’ve ever seen and a flash mob routine like no other…..executed to perfection.

Best wedding guests any couple (and photographer) could ever ask for. The couple also had the best MC in Clive…wish I had a Clive at every wedding! LOL! 😉

Can you believe, I’ve only gone and made Rangefinder’s annual and prestigious shortlist of 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography. Man, I’m so chuffed!

Congratulations to all my fellow honourees and a massive thank you to and the judges and for thinking so highly of my work. It really means a lot to have made this prestigious shortist. What a boost for heading into 2023!

First and foremost, I give all the glory to God for being faithful and gracious with his blessings this year. It’s been an awesome year and making this shortlist is just the icing on the cake.

To my wife Kamelia, thank you for supporting me when I come home one evening in January 2019 saying I’m quitting my job and I want to pursuit this passion for wedding photography and will you support me. She said yes and to show her this recognition of all the hard work, makes me (and her) very happy.

To all my couples, thank you for choosing me to capture your wedding day and trusting me to create the beautiful images that won this amazing accolade. I loved every minute I spent you and your families and friends.

Unknowingly to him, a massive thanks to Pastor Tope who’s sermon that January evening helped break the chain of fear. It was like an epiphany, I stop being afraid to fail and letting people down, and I’ve been failing forward ever since. I don’t seem to talk enough about this experience, but it changed everything for me.

A huge thanks to my mentors, Ash & Mick for all their support and encouragement. To Damion, my oldest friend in the industry and to everyone of my friends/colleagues who contribute to my development through friendship, advice and critics. I thank you and love you all!

I mention all these people because I did not get here by myself alone and never would have, if not for them. They all deserve a mention and to share in this achievement.

I remember being at the edge of the table when they signed their register and this look from Abi spoke so much of how she was feeling. Sometimes it’s difficult to explain how you feel in a moment, but often easier to express it with a look. The commitment they just made to each other, that smile said it all.

Yeah I know I’ve not been posting on Instagram for a while….BUT… and Oliver’s marriage blessing in Market Bosworth this weekend was nothing short of incredible, stunning, wonderful, amazing….I could go on.

They are two amazing human beings and to say Beth looked gorgeous in her wedding dress and Oliver in his suit is an understatement at best.

They got marriage in Las Vegas back in August and this weekend was a marriage blessing to which they could invite their family and friends to celebrate with them and party too. More on the party to come!

I had an absolute blast capturing Louise and Greg’s beautiful wedding celebration at their parent’s home in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. This was a stunning day full of love, laughter and tears of joy, and it was a pleasure to be a part of it. I loved every single minute of their wedding day and was made to feel so welcomed by their family and friends, I didn’t want to leave. I love Pre-Wed Shoots because it’s an opportunity to show couples just how beautiful they are and and are exactly that…..BEAUTIFUL in photos as they are in person. We decided to beat the morning rush but shooting very early in the morning, so we had the St. Dunstan in the East garden all to ourselves.

had many emotional moments during her wedding to Eddy, but this one shortly after the reveal to her two dad's was really special. There was so much love between them for all to see, there wasn't a dry eye in the room. The laughter came shortly afterwards when her dad realised all his tears were captured on camera. It was an honour to witness such a beautiful moment and I get to do this for a living. I am lucky!

Hello, My name is Deji Johnson, a professional wedding photographer based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire (on the outskirts of London). I am married to an amazing woman and a proud father of two amazing daughters. In my spare time, I love spending time with family and friends, traveling and discovering new places, both here at home in the UK and abroad.
