One of my favourite event spaces The Newt in Somerset is the vast Glasshouse, officially called The Winter Garden but we know how idyllic it is in summer too.
Last week working for STUDIO WHITE I created florals and grassy styling to adorn the most beautiful table for special guests.

Flowers including speciality sunflowers, zinnias, dahlias and cosmos, with British grown herbs potted into sweet terracotta Bergs Potter pots and my vintage brass candlesticks with butter yellow candles. Exquisite design and styling from Kara and the team at Studio White. A culinary and visual feast 💛

No more flowers, I’m a pebble artist now. 🤣

Returning to this platform after a seven week hiatus.. a busy June became a brilliantly crazy July with a foray of beautiful projects, dreamy weddings, stunning flowers, hot hot heat and very dry ground.
My phone bursts with things to share but life in the moment has been truly occupying and heart filling and so I’ve gone with the flow and this space has taken a back seat.

The last 2 weeks have been spent in Wales, camping at various points of the coast with different groups of family and friends and a love of Wales is borne, pebble stacking at sunset, dolphin watching, wild beaches, clear seas, good food, and tons of sunshine - no doubt the weather helped 😉

And yes, you know that paw knocked this straight down… you gotta watch out for those little beach tigers at sunset 🐅

When peonies and lilac season combine👌 With double tulips, and speciality narcissi held back with success. This was an early May wedding, such a treat of a month.
Sculptural hawthorn branches adorning the marquee poles and a giant over the bar hoop designed to have real variation and interest. Elegant tables adorned with flower sculptures.

I adore this look and love the creative process of designing a wedding like this, truly artful, seasonal and and sculptural.
