Vases all ready and waiting to be positioned as part of the ceremony backdrop this summer for Fi & Sam in the Radic pavilion @hauserwirthsomerset.
The bloom varieties were kept separate for striking block impact.
The steel cylinder vases were made by a friend of the bride and groom👌
The vintage coupes were from my husbands great great grandfathers cafe & gelateria that served Galashiels for several generations, so using those was pretty special too 🥰
Today is bright and dry in Somerset, a perfect day to gather wild clematis, its fluffy seed heads and twisting vines make its way into many of my autumn winter designs. The hedgerows are packed with it at this time of year and it’s always best to gather sooner rather than later to get the best quality, - and before the local farmers cut all the hedges making it impossibly hard to reach 😆
With all this sunshine it’s finally full swing dahlia season with all the new varieties I put in the cutting garden this year. Many plants had a slow start and are just getting going so it’s an absolute treat to start working with them.
I am loving this dreamy palette!
Happy anniversary Olivia & Sam, I always love looking back at your beautiful August wedding @atthechapel - dreamy in every way! 🤍🤍🤍
Note to self - Asclepias seed pods, not for drying.
I came back to the studio to find some left over stems had exploded rather dramatically….everywhere. But too pretty not to capture. Like little fireflies ✨
The making of! I never shared this last year so here it is.. the stop frame capture of the creation of the RHS Letters 2023.
Hard work, great team, great weather and a bold design. Thanks @the_rhs for the opportunity 💫💛

Dried flowers and twiggy bits.
Floral displays for @houseoffraser
Gah if you haven’t gone and stuck yourself right in or under a magnolia tree yet I’d really recommend it before all the petals drop. Birdsong and an abundant cloud of beautiful blooms. It really is a spring highlight
