We love seeing these logos side by side!

Earlier this year, we shared a short case study about our long-standing partnership with NASUWT, celebrating over 30 years of collaboration built on trust, inclusion and shared values.

When the new Best Collaboration with an Organiser category was announced for the ESSA Awards 2025, we took it as a sign to enter and we’re absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted!

It’s ok for Dad to be the carer.

As most of you know, many of our Purple People are men. it's something we’re really proud of.
We’ve always believed that care isn’t about gender, it’s about compassion, skill and trust.

When boys see men caring for children, they learn that empathy and strength go together.
When dads see men in childcare roles, it gives permission to be hands-on, to nurture and connect in their own way.

So this we’re celebrating the brilliant men on our team who show children every day that care belongs to everyone.

120 children, 40 staff, self care, creativity, movement, outdoor play, quiet time, slime, designing our vision, superhero training, ladders, recycling waste into something beautiful and personal, making biscuits… and eating them … and a birthday celebration for one of our wonderful team!

What a weekend! And that was just one of our shows!

Thank you to Black Educators for entrusting us with your children!

Do you ever check the safeguarding protocols at public events and venues before you attend?

At Nipperbout, we’ve spent over 30 years helping event teams create safe, welcoming spaces for children, families and vulnerable adults because a truly family-friendly event starts with a safe one.

Next time you book, ask training and systems are in place!

Imagine this.

Your child wanders off in a busy event venue.

Your heart stops.

Now imagine event and venue staff who instantly know what to do, how to reassure your child, where to take them, who to contact and how to keep them safe until you’re reunited.

That’s the standard if event teams have been trained by Nipperbout.

Every event should feel safe for every family.

That's why we've created our training courses - to help event organsers do exactly that!

Children know when they’re safe.
Parents know when they can relax.
And it all starts with familiar faces.

At Nipperbout, our Purple People aren’t just staff they are the heart of our crèches. Many have been with us for over 10 years, bringing calm, confidence and consistency to every event we support.

That’s why children run in smiling, parents walk away reassured and organisers invite us back year after year.

When we first started Nipperbout, it was almost unheard of for parents to bring their children to an event... fast forward 30+ years and could the event industry be catching up?

We’re now seeing wellbeing spaces, sensory rooms and, increasingly, event crèches that help parents feel truly welcome. however, as Janthea shares in her Exhibition News interview for The 70% series, there’s still more work to do.

True inclusion means thinking about families. Parents should be able to learn, network and take part in the same way as everyone else, without worrying about childcare.

Read Janthea’s full interview here and let us know if you agree!
