Nipperbout Nipperbout is an event childcare company. We provide OFSTED 'Outstanding' childcare and children's Caring for between 1 and 300+ children at any one time!

Nipperbout has been providing outstanding care & 'edutainment' for children for 30 years! We cater for children aged 0 - 17 years operating at events nationwide. Our staff, known as the 'Purple People' are trained to care for children with a variety of needs and abilities. From school teachers to circus performers our Purple People have a range of skills and talents to support and entertain childr

en in our care. Currently Nipperbout works with a number of large unions, event organisers and operates at some of the largest venues in Britain and Europe. Nipperbout also offers training and consultancy on all things children, specialising in children at events.

How gorgeous was it last week? We made the most of the sun and headed to Valley Gardens in Harrogate for an adventure with the children of UCU Congress (University & College Union).

We explored the gardens, discovered some 'alien' plants, climbed trees (and climbing frames), smelled flowers, watched artists creating and even made our own fishing rods.

Back at crèche, we continued the adventure with some of the children turning their discoveries into artwork of their own.

Lovely to see the children embracing the outdoors and using their imagination!

How many ways can our Purple People say hello?

In all the ways your child needs.

From the moment you arrive at the event creche, everything we do is about helping children feel safe, seen and settled. For many families, that starts with something simple but powerful - being welcomed in a language you understand.

Many of our team are bi or even tri-lingual, and because we usually know who is coming to the crèche in advance, we make sure we can communicate in a way that puts both children and parents at ease.

Registration forms, signage and information are already available in Arabic, Italian, French and Spanish, with more languages available whenever needed.

And sometimes, the best welcome comes from the children themselves, as you can see!

We recently came off our biggest event of the year so far. 206 children over four days.

And while that might sound like a big number, what really stays with us are the individual stories behind it.

The parent who thought attending was not an option, but came anyway.
The one on parental leave who got a small piece of their professional world back.
The families who did not have to choose between work and childcare.

For those few days, parents were able to focus, connect, learn and enjoy the event properly, knowing their children were close by, safe and having a genuinely great time.

That is why we do what we do.

Because childcare at events is not just practical. It changes who gets to be in the room.
