Things you should NOT bring to your bridal appointment 👇
1. Shape wear - it is not needed and believe us when we say it can make a dress fit all wrong. Of course once you have found your dress you can the select the right underwear for your dress. Our gowns are constructed with great support and they hold you in the right places 🔥
2. Shoes - you do not need your shoes. The only time you need to have your shoes is for your alteration fitting appointments. We have a pedestal for you to stand on during your appointment; the combination of a pedestal and a pair of killer heels could end in disaster 😂
3. Unsupportive guests - honestly you need your biggest cheerleaders around you. The ones that will be honest with you but support your feelings and decisions. You will not get to recreate the moment you find your dream dress so make sure you bring the right people 🫶
4. Expectations - you know that Pinterest board just remember it might not be the style for you. Do not worry if your dress is not anything like what you thought you would wear. Follow your heart and go with the moment ❤️ Overthinking can cause so much heartache and make your bridal moment more difficult than it needs to be.
5. Procescco - after all we have a fridge full ready for you to celebrate 🥂

5 top tips // for looking after your wedding dress at home 🫶
1. Make sure your hands are clean before you touch your wedding dress; dirty fingerprints over your gown are not the vibe.
2. Use the hanger loops on your gown; do not just use the straps. This can cause them to misshape due to the weight of the gown
3. To help prevent the train creasing, use the train hanger loop to hang it up.
4. Zips can cause damage to your dress; make sure you place your hand behind it to protect your dress from getting caught in it.

Sinead // A day in the life of a seamstress 🪡
First things first, coffee ☕️ and plenty of it 👏
Of course Sinead’s main role is to guide you through your alteration journey and ensure your gown is altered to perfection; however, there is so much more to her role.
From ordering supplies, to steaming, processing deliveries, cleaning and boxing gowns, repairing our samples, admin…the list goes on.
I couldn’t be without this wonderful lady. I am lucky she is our incredibly talented seamstress/dressmaker. But I am even more lucky she is my friend. You see, she goes above and beyond her role everyday. She has ensured everything carries on running smoothly whilst I am off work and always has our brides best interest at heart and mine ❤️ I will be forger grateful for everything she has done and continues to do everyday.
