CHRISTMAS PARTY & CAROLS

We are having a Christmas Party on Friday 20th December. Santa will be visiting and we will be singing carols and Christmas songs in the bar. We will provide a tea and Santa will give a gift to the children. The cost will be £5, we will need to know the name, age and s*x of the children to ensure appropriate gifts. We will also be providing a jacket potato meal for the adults for £5. To enable us to plan and organise please let us know as soon as possible if you are coming and by Thursday 12th at the latest.
Santa will be in his Grotto from 6.00pm and we will be singing carols later

Unfortunately due to low numbers and consequent lack of teams we have decided to cancel this week's planned quiz. It appears people are already having commitments in the build up to Xmas. We hope to start with quizzes again in the New Year. The next event at the club is the Xmas Bingo on Wednesday 4th December at 7.00pm for prompt 7.30pm start. The bar will be open, warm mince pies will be served and lots of great prizes. Everyone welcome for a great night out.

Our popular quizzes return for the winter, the first is on Saturday 23rd 7.30pm for 8.00pm start. £2 per person max 6 per team. We are a very friendly group so singles and couples are welcome and will always find a team to join.

We are making changes and getting as much as we can through donations etc, this is another way to raise funds and it is free to you, the donations come from the online companies Marketing budget. Sign up, give it a go as you can add real funds for us to add real value to the pavilion, especially with all our Christmas purchases.

If anyone in the village is having fireworks, please let me know the day and time. I'm sure you all know by now that one of my horses gets very scared by fireworks and I need to be with them.

This year's fabulous Harvest Supper is on Saturday 5th October. In the first instance tickets are only available to members at an "earlybird" price of £15 per member for a three course meal.

Starter: Pate or Melon; Main Course: Roast Beef (veg option); followed by a variety of desserts. This is always a popular night and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate living in our special community.

If you would like to attend please let us know by email with your choice of starter. Payment can be made by BACS or alternatively you can pay by cash at the bar (it is open every Friday from 6pm).

As usual we will be grateful for any offers of desserts and this year all dessert providers will be entered into a raffle for a special prize!

We would also be grateful for any raffle prizes for the night and or the Xmas bingo.
Please book your tickets by September Friday 13th because after that date tickets will be offered to residents of the village who are non-members.
