Dress swoon alert!
How stunning does ✨ALEXANDRA ✨ look in her couture wedding gown?
Made meticulously by hand by layering delicate Devore silk chiffon over silk organza and silk satin. All in beautiful soft hues of honey, blush and warm ivory. Finished off with detachable sleeves and a tulle over skirt. 😍

A beautiful future heirloom christening gown made using precious vintage lace that has been handed down generations. This was an utter joy to make and felt so privileged to be trusted with cutting into something so irreplaceable!

I adore black lace...
And I love making dresses directly onto the mannequin, which is how this little number was made. From a square of delicate lace, I pleated and folded it around the body until it was perfect.

Happy 50th wedding anniversary to my parents!

Very sad not to be able to celebrate this milestone with them but hopefully soon when traveling is allowed again.

And waiting...
To find The One? (The dress that is!)

I have often found myself saying that I am either the first person my brides turn to for their dress as they instinctively know that what they want doesn’t exist, or that dresses off the peg don’t tend to fit them.
OR I’m the last person they come to because they’ve been to a 100 shops and tried on a zillion dresses and not one was perfect, and then realising that actually, it could be made for them! Hurrah!

Whichever way you might find your way to me, I am happy when you do. What matters to me is that you get what you want. Never settle for “almost perfect”.
