Well Gentlemen , what can I say , you have certainly kept me busy this week , today complete sell out , so well done to you all for spoiling your ladies ❤️❤️of course there always one , what can I say RUDE actually like it’s my fault I had no roses left , but another note , to the lovely young man who came I thought to buy for his girlfriend , then told me his dad had passed away and he wanted something special for him mum , , you melted my heart , you are a credit to your mum and I hope she she’s this , what a wonderful way to end a very long and hard day , , Thankyou to each and everyone of you who have kept us on our toes , 🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️ ###x

Valentine's Day - The one the florists hate !!!

It is such a hard peak period to judge. Flower orders need to be placed early (too early!) to guarantee the best and top quality flowers.

That big question... "How many Red Roses should we buy??"

🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

But flower orders well they're slow and when they come they're really last minute.

The flowers arrive.
We panic!! We've bought far too many.

🌹🌻🌷🌹🌻🌷🌹🌻🌷🌹🌻🌷🌹🌻🌷

Then we do get orders for flowers. Of course orders for flowers we don't have in stock. But we don't want to order more flowers surely? Or do we?

Then Valentine's Eve comes. And all hell breaks loose!!....
The men finally realise tomorrow is Valentine's day !!

- Argh!!!!!! Should've bought more red roses. How have we suddenly ran out of red roses??? But why have we ended up with so much Gyp?? Why is it always in the blooming way!!!
And why on earth is the bloody thistle pricking my buttocks everytime I try to reach the top shelf!!

6pm - 13th February,
"Hey. Am I too late to order 12 Red Roses to be delivered at 8am in the morning to my girlfriend? It's got to be at exactly 8am though as she's going out? How much will that be? Oh deliveries extra?"

Then finally, finally the flowers go...

We lose the will to live. We've drank enough cold tea to sink a cruise ship. Legs ache. Our eyes look as though you've been on an all night bender. And we can no longer feel our fingers. Except those small thorns of course which are now ingrained into our skin.

Of course our 8am delivery (That must be there for 8am!!)
Well now that involves waking up the entire street by setting off the burglar alarm whilst attempting to leave said bouquet in a 'safe place' apologising profusely to 'Brian' the local neighbourhood watch enforcer.🤦‍♀️

But finally. Finally. Come 6pm on the 14th of February. We have survived. For another year at least!!

All is well again in the world.

When asked. "Good Valentines??"
- "Not bad. You know. The usual."
