There is always something new to see with baby animals and all our usual farmyard favourites. Explore the Victorian farmhouse & schoolroom, the wartime cottage and Anderson shelter. What will you discover about life in the past? During the school holidays there are themed events, trails and activities to take part in. We also have an amazing indoor play barn packed full of farm-themed equipment, w

ith different zones for toddlers to eight-year-olds. Outside is another play area with play tractors and a combine harvester. Grab hot drinks and snacks in the play barn, then relax and catch up with friends whilst the little ones let off steam — whatever the weather. The Café, just outside the entrance to the farm, offers a selection of food and drink from teas and ice creams to hot food. Last entry to the farm is 45 minutes before the published closing time.

The countdown to Christmas is well under way, so come and join us at the farm for some festive fun! Can you find all Father Christmas's reindeer in our free trail? Join Mother Christmas for a story in our Christmas Barn at 11am, learn some essential elf skills at our Elf Training School at 2pm and drop into Mother Christmas's Kitchen in the farmhouse and decorate a Christmas biscuit (£1.50). Write & post a letter to father Christmas in our Elf Post Office, and climb aboard Santa's Sleigh for a photo.

We're currently looking for specialist volunteers for our equines. Currently, Manor Farm is home to donkeys, ponies and a Shire horse, all of which need plenty of care and attention! Could you help out? Ideally, we'd love someone with some experience of horses to lend a hand on the farm with grooming, exercise, mucking out and enrichment. ⚠️ Country Parks and Farms Closure Saturday 7 December ⚠️🍃

Due to the strong wind forecast, our Country Parks and Farms will be closed on Saturday, 7 December 2024. All facilities, including car parks and outdoor areas, will be inaccessible.

Following site checks, we plan to reopen on Sunday, 8 December in the morning if it is safe to do so. Please check our social media pages and website for updates before you travel.

🎟️Booked onto an event? Anyone booked onto an event on Saturday will be contacted with alternative options.

The elves have been busy at Manor Farm getting everything ready for the start of our Christmas activities, which run Thursday to Sunday each week through December starting this Thursday (28th) November.
* Join Mother Christmas for a festive story in our Christmas barn & make a snowflake decoration at 11am.
* Learn some Elf skills at our Elf training school at 2pm.
* Drop into the farmhouse and decorate a Christmas biscuit in Mother Christmas's kitchen (£1.50 -payable by card/cash on arrival at reception or by cash in the farmhouse) anytime throughout the day.
* Climb into Father Christmas's sleigh for a photo and visit the Elf Post Office to write a letter to Father Christmas, anytime throughout the day.
*Try our free trail which begins on the yard green, finding the reindeer who are busy preparing for the Best Christmas Party Ever.

Have you heard of Stir Up Sunday? Stir Up Sunday is an old tradition that dates from the Victorian era, when families would gather around and 'stir' their homemade Christmas pudding five weeks before Christmas, the last Sunday before advent begins.
Tomorrow is Stir Up Sunday so to help you get into the festive spirit, Aunty Bea will be in the farmhouse kitchen with the range lit, making Christmas Pudding & mince pies!

Just in time for Thursday opening, we've had three new lambs! These twins were born on Tuesday 5th and we had another single little lamb born in the early hours of this morning! Just one more ewe left to give birth... hopefully it'll be soon 🤞🐑❤️

There is always something new to see with baby animals and all our usual farmyard favourites. Take part in our daily farm activities, explore the farmhouse and farm buildings and take part in a Victorian school lesson. During school holidays there are themed events to keep little ones entertained, and once you’ve met all our animals why not visit our play area with it’s play tractor, combine harvester and pedal tractor circuit? The Café, just outside the entrance to the farm, offers a selection of food and drink from teas and ice creams to hot food.
