Flower halos always look gorgeous hung in your wedding venue.

My halo is always covered in greenery and then I can swap the flowers in and out to match your colour scheme.

The bride and groom asked for rust, with touches of pampas, moving into peach tones.

What a cacophony of colour!

Absolutely love the details of L&N's wedding on Saturday. Thankfully the weather held off for them, although it was rather windy at the set up on Friday 💨

L&N self hired a naked halo, disco balls, placemats, napkins, dozens of bud vases, candlesticks, candles and clear umbrellas to help that create this stunning look, and didn't they do a fabulous job!

"We've just tied the knot, now take a shot!" Is often the message from couples gifting little shot bottles as their favours.

This year the sloe berries are amazing! If you find a sloe tree/hedge, check they're ready to be picked by giving them a little squeeze. If they're still hard, leave them. If a bit squidgy, pick, wash and pop in the freezer overnight.

Then layer with sugar and store for a few weeks. Keep shaking your jar every day or two. Once you feel the juice has been released, strain, keeping all the liquid and then add to your gin! Let it sit for a month or two at least!

Yum.

Ps The colour of sloe gin would match all sorts of colour schemes!

I know you want your hired props to look great, so I spend lots of time cleaning, polishing and keeping them all gorgeous.

That often means a little spray painting and today was the perfect day for it! Blue skies and sunshine to help speed up the drying time.

Avoid the mistake of everything being too matchy matchy. I love a mix of heights for your wedding centerpieces. Adds interest to the eye and so I often use the very tall flower bombs on stands for half my tables and a low set up for the other half.
