New to me!

I visited the gorgeous this afternoon as last week a bride booked me to style her wedding next July. It's one I haven't been to before....hence the "new to me".

It's near Twycross Zoo (I said hello to the 🦩 as I passed IYKYK) and has a fabulous rural setting. Rolling green fields under a stunning blue sky!

The building is beautiful. Rustic industrial farm hints with black corrugated cladding, brickwork to die for and black windows that I'd love at my house. The main room is a space you could do pretty much anything with.

And even better, when you choose this venue, you have it for the whole weekend. With onsite accomodation, this would be an amazing weekend wedding venue choice.

Audio guest book...

How great would it be if your guests left you a voice message on your wedding day which you can replay over and over?

The phone is so simple to use. You can record a welcome message for your guests to hear and then they simply pick up the receiver and leave you a message. You'll then receive a link to download all the messages to keep forever!

The audio book is now available to hire! £75 covers the phone, signage, a coloured drape and then a link to download your messages.

I've just ordered an audio phone guest book!

My new phone will record messages from your loved ones on your Big Day....a great alternative to a traditional guest book.

I'll then upload them and you'll have the audio files to play forever!

Amazing!

Congratulations MEL & BEN!!! 🤍

I met Mel & Ben at a booked couples twilight .They had already planned most of their decor, but decided to self hire some linens and lanterns to finish off their look......and it looks beautiful!

I know it's mid summer, but for all of you brides saying I do in autumn, this is for you!

Think about the elements you need to make your wedding venue warm and cosy.

Take advantage of twinkling candlelight (either real or good quality LED), warm colours and hints of autumn. Use soft fabrics and greenery to add texture and interest to your tablescape.

With a few easy tips, you can take your wedding table decor from "meh" to "wow"!!

Adding texture to your tables adds softness and gorgeousness!

Lots of places sell rolls or swatches of fabric in 30cm widths, often in a harsh fabric that doesn't drape well. This leads to a flat length of material on your table adding straight lines, which does not add texture.

If you can, source soft chiffon or cheesecloth, in a wider width and ruffle it as you lay it on your table.

Try both at home - you'll be amazed at the difference a soft drapeable fabric will have.

So I've had a few days off with the fam-a-lam recharging, ready for a busy summer wedding season.

We had some amazing weather.....in-between the rain showers! We've had to retire our faithful tent as it's now over 10 years old and is sadly now leaking.

It's been out at least once a year and has been sun blasted, faced 50mph winds and generally battered by the British weather all over the country.

Bespoke moon gates!
My moongate is a lovely thing of greenery-ness! I can add flowers/pampas/feathers to suit your theme.
Use as the backdrop to your wedding and then move it to behind your top table/cake, or use as a photo corner backdrop.
Some people choose to add their own neon sign too....
