A couple of months ago we held our very first networking day at The Brewhouse which included lunch, a gentle movement class with AJ from Ascension Dance, inclusive practice training with Spectra Arts and an opportunity to learn more about The Brewhouse and the Dance Leaders Group, including how to get more involved with what goes on in the region.

Great to have the Making Trails exhibition in the gallery throughout December. Be sure to pop in and check out the incredible work!

Last night was the opening of our first Making Trails Exhibition at The Brewhouse Arts Centre.

It was wonderful to have so many visitors come and see the work and chat to our talented artists.

We were thrilled to have sold some pieces already including original works, cards and prints. If you’d like to pick up a unique gift for Christmas, come and visit our exhibition! We’ll be there until 7th January.

An exciting opportunity for a Midlands-based artist or group over with The National Forest!

Do you have a creative idea for a project to engage school children in planting and caring for woodlands?🌳

We’re looking for a Midlands-based artist or group of practitioners to develop a creative learning project based at Oversetts Community Woodland, Swadlincote with a focus on wildlife, the seasons and growing.

The project should provide activity for children and teachers at Fairmeadows Primary School, which is situated adjacent to the woodland and could extend to engage the wider community including local residents, offering creative opportunities throughout the process, and also nurture longer-term care for the woodland.
