Just confirmed 2 more weddings. That’s 19 bookings confirmed in just one week 🤯 including one in November 😊📸 That’s at least 1 wedding booked for every month of this year. 47 in total so far for 2025. I do have some limited space still available, especially for midweek weddings. But will also now start to look at dates for a little holiday. 2025’s also looking very good too with 31 weddings booked in so far. Booked 4 weddings at yesterday’s Open Day so thank you to all the lovely staff at the Registry Office for having me there. Thank you to anyone that shared posts or recommended me. Come have a look around and speak to the amazing registrars who will guide you through your day. I will be there exhibiting some of my work, taking bookings and offering advice. I also have an exclusive Registry Office wedding package available on offer.
The Registry Office is located in the beautiful town of Bury St Edmunds and just over the road from the historic Abbey Gardens. This part of town offers some truly beautiful scenery for your wedding day photos. So even if you are planning a smaller more intimate wedding, you can still look back on stunning photos of your special day.
All the photos you see on this post were taken at the Registry Office and within a 5 minute walking distance.

If while taking photos I make a funny little “whhooowww!” or “oohhhhhh!” or any other strange sound do not be alarmed. It means something awesome has happened lol
Jazzmyn and Jack wanted a photo outside the famous Abbey Gate. A cold day in February 2 weeks ago at 5pm. Scenery was a little grey. When the colour of the gate suddenly changed (as shown in the second photo). This is when I made “the noise!” They had turned on the Abbey Gate lights 🥳 at this time of day the human eye cannot see the true colour as it’s still quite light. But a quick adjustment of camera settings. Boom it’s like it’s a couple of hours later and that gorgeous orange light illuminates the gate and you get a nice moody sky. You need a off camera flash with a Magmod 1/4 CTO Gel, Grid and Sphere to capture the bride and groom too. And a little “whhooowwww” just to make it complete.

A Quick Look at Saturdays wedding. Becky & Scott who tied the knot at Bury St Edmunds Registry Office. Started snowing just as we left the ceremony. Apparently snow in your wedding day is a sign of fertility and prosperity. If you want my opinion it’s a sign it’s gonna be bloody cold 🥶😂

If you are planning a registry office wedding the Bury Registry Office has its doors open this Saturday the 22nd February for their opening day. Come have a look round, meet their celebrants and registrars, have a chat, get some good advice and see what they have to offer. I will also be there with an exclusive wedding photography offer, examples of photos from Bury registry office weddings and in and around the abbey gardens. It’s a beautiful part of town and even if you are planning a smaller intimate wedding you can still get amazing photos.

Jazzmyn & Jack ❤️ photographed these beautiful two getting married yeaterday in Bury St Edmunds. We started at the registry office then headed down to the Catherdral for some group photos before taking Jazzmyn & Jack on a little walk through the Abbey. Only met these yesterday for the first time as they booked me on the phone just a few months before Christmas. What a gorgeous couple and such a beautiful family. Thank you for letting me capture your special day.

I showed one of the wedding guests some cigar photos I’d done at weddings. 5 mins later I asked where he was and they said he’s gone to the shops to buy some ci**rs 😂😂 love doing these photos. In here we have the Groom, the Bestman, Father of the Bride and a few other guests. Even the Bride jumped in for a couple of pics 📸

Bridal prep is where your story begins. All my full day wedding packages start 3 hours before the ceremony and finish 20 mins after the first dance. At the Norfolk Mead today for my first wedding of 2025. Great place to start the year. Beautiful couple and stunning venue. Lovely surprise as I just overheard one of the bridesmaids tell the bride that I photographed her wedding here too. That was 8 years ago. Always nice to catch up with couples whos weddings I’ve captured and see them doing well 😊

Used a ad200pro with magmod 1/4cto gel and magmod grid attached. Light is positioned behind couple slightly more to the grooms side to get the rim light off the brides eyelid and nose
